Hotel & Spa Poco a Poco - Costa Rica

The location was great & tours were well organised and accommodated. Breakfast was good. It was nice to have the pool undercover when it rained.

This just didn’t feel like value for money. It is quite expensive given the room and facilities were average - nothing in particular stood out as bad but also nothing stood out as good. The jacuzzi turned both our swimsuits green.

The pool and hot tub was fun. The dining room had good food. The bedding and bed was good.

Our room was over the cooking area, stinky from Smokey, greasy food. The balcony was small and unusable and looking over the above. There was a small child above us who screamed a lot and dragged furniture and very much noise coming from the halls. Not any peace and quiet in that room. Nice view but that was about all.

A satisfactory three night stay. The rooms are modern and clean with just about enough space for our family of four. We had three breakfasts and one dinner during our stay. All the food was excellent although the dinner was a little overpriced. The pool area and hot tub are very nice.

Super staff and lovely hotel. Loved the outside areas, poolside and shared hot tub. Especially enjoyed the margaritas prepared by Pablo who had hand made many exceptional ingredients to really elevate the drinks.

The pool was quite cool, on a hot day this would have been great but the cooler days we had, it was a little fresh.

The staff were wonderfully friendly and family-oriented, which we appreciated. The pool and bar area was excellent and the kids loved it. The food and service at the restaurant were excellent and we appreciated the included breakfast. Front desk staff gave us great recommendations for enjoying the area with two small kids.

The room furnishings were pretty bare bones. There was a strong smell of insecticide throughout the grounds.
