The Sandringham Hotel

Was close to everything we needed and comfortable

It was all ok

The room was very cramped (probably a single room being used as a twin). Carpet was stained, 'mucky bits' on corner of shower cubicle where water has clearly leaked for a long time. The room (as is much of the hotel) is old and tired. Mattresses were cleary very old, very soft and should have been changed a long time ago. We learned from a member of staff that the hotel is due for refurbishment. Our room shuld never have been let out to guests in its current condition. As the hotel is mainly Coach parties it may be that those guest rooms are kept in better condition. THE STAFF WERE VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY.

Not enough staff available in lobby

Main lift not working had to go in goods lift. Floor boards very noisy.

Liked the location right on sea front staff were friendly polite entertainment was good

Booked a double room the bed was a small double I'd say it was 4ft was very small and we had all the extractor fans out side our window witch was noisy in the night the shower only had a curtain floor got soaking had to use towels to mop it up
