Little Lochan Lodge

There was nothing that I didn't like. The cozy feel of the bedroom with the log fire and wooden bed was so nice. Listening to the lambs in the morning (lambing season) was so nice too. We could do anything we liked without feeling rushed to get out of needing to go anywhere like I think we would if we were in a hotel or somewhere else. They provided everything you could need including an air fryer and toaster although we didn't use these as there is a little cafe in town that we went too. Highly recommend going there for breakfast and get some cake too. The hosts were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The views around the cabin are breathtaking and the drive is just as good. It also snowed the first night and waking up to that was just magical. I'm

I wish we could have stayed longer.

Always good to detach from reality abit, and this is the perfect get away to do it. The owners are fab, nothing is too much for them, they go that extra mile to ensure your stay is amazing. Will always return to this one.

There is nothing i dont like about this one.

Incredible little getaway, felt so blessed that we got to wake up to snow the following morning too. The lodge has everything you need to have a comfortable and cosy stay. It’s immaculate, Hazel and Alistair have put so much heart into every detail, they are both so welcoming and always on happy to help with anything. We have very busy lives and just two nights here helped us reset, we definitely plan to return in future.

We had no complaints or issues during our stay.

Peaceful, quiet. Beautiful location. Great place to just relax and recharge the batteries. Lovely set up, well presented and immaculately clean. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly.

Nothing to dislike, it was exactly what we wanted.

We loved the area, scenery, rustic aesthetic, and general vibe of the lodge. The owners Hazel and Alistair were absolutely brilliant and couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. We specifically loved how calm and peaceful both the lodge and the surrounding area felt. All of the generous touches such as hot chocolate sachets, fresh milk, bottles of water, extra wood/kindling etc, were greatly appreciated too. There are many beautiful walks that surround the lodge and nearby towns, Milnathort and Kinross, are beautiful with plenty of cafes, coffee shops, and things to explore.

As much as the lodge was beautiful, it was also freezing. That could be largely down to the fact we were useless at lighting and maintaining the woodburner, but even when the fire was lit, the room wasn't the warmest. The heated blankets supplied by the lodge were essential for throughout the night! The kitchen and toilet could have benefitted from a small eletric heater, too, as both rooms were very chilly. The shower was fine but a little bit unpredictable with spurts of very cold and very hot water.

The lodge was perfect in every way stunning location and so tranquil. The hosts hazel and Alastair were so lovely and friendly and very welcoming.

Nothing everything was perfect

Lovely rustic little lodge, very cosy. We were up during chilly weather but were left plenty of firewood to keep warm. The cat (Smudge) was a delight, surroundings were gorgeous. Hazel and Alasdair were very friendly and helpful, definitely would love to go back.

I'd recommend heading up during the daylight hours. We went a little later in the day and gave ourselves an extra challenge (but still found the place easily enough).

Beautiful setting, so secluded and quite it was a refresh that we needed!

The toilet systems a bit odd, it’s an eco toilet and was pretty awkward to use
