Location was handy....free parking saved us messing about and managed to let us check in early.

I liked this property as it was close to the centre for our short visit!!

Everything was perfect

Great location with loads of transport links into York centre. The room was large with a decent size bathroom. The check in is easy and we arrived about 1 hour early, but still got our key on arrival.

Rooms need a bit of attention (lino floor in bathroom was a bit bumpy, and some of the fixtures were a bit heath robinson). Overall though reasonable value for money.

Situated approximately one mile from the city centre, very quiet and pleasant surroundings. The accommodation is separate from the tavern and is at the bottom of the car park which adds to the quiet. Lovely garden area with picnic benches outside the accommodation. Our room was spacious, clean and bright. Comfortable bed, pillows and linen. Fluffy towels and a bath! which was a great bonus for me. We ate in the bar area before going out, food is available almost all day. Good menu, prices and staff. I would like to add something more about the staff, they were all so friendly, helpful and professional, it really was a pleasure to talk to them, nothing was an issue or problem Check out is not until 11am , what more could you need. I can’t praise this place enough, they made our stay! We’ll definitely book again next time we go to York.
