Wir hatten die Hütte Puntije oder so ähnlich. Links am Hang, bevor die Steinhäuser kommen. Für zwei Personen natürlich sehr groß, aber mit wunderbarer Aussicht ins Tal und auf die Berge. Gute Ausstattung, großer Kühlschrank alles da was man braucht. Einkaufen sollte man auf jeden Fall vorher, spätestens in Ceres. Es war heiß, von daher war die Abkühlung im Fluss sehr angenehm!

Wir persönlich fanden die Qualität des Abendessens nur durchschnittlich und waren froh, für die zwei anderen Tage selbst eingekauft zu haben. In den Hütten gibt es weder Telefon noch WLAN. Wenn ein Notfall wäre, müsste man am Gebäude des Haupthauses versuchen, per WhatsApp den Manager zu erreichen. Diese wurde darum würde dann das Krankenhaus in Ceres informieren.

It feels like being immersed in an oasis in the middle of rocky Cederberg. Thousands of olive trees and the river close to the property. A perfect place to relax and unwind, hiking, swimming in the river, stargazing…

Mount Ceder is an absolute must stay location if you're visiting the Cederberg area. The spacious accommodation has everything you could need. It's quite literally an oasis in the mountain range.

Nothing - only not having another day there.

Keine Klimaanlage im Hauptzimmer. Schlafen eigentlich unmöglich.

Very remote and tranquil perfect 2-3 nights

Bit of advice. Plan your route carefully, it’s not difficult but definitely have plenty of petrol and understand the route

De rust en het insrukwekkende landschap. Ook het huisje en terras heel compleet en sfeervol. Het kunnen bestellen van een Braaipakket en zelf BBQ was top.

De weg er naar toe vanuit de richting Clanwilliam was ruim 75 km over een niet geasfalteerde weg. Hoewel door een indrukwekkende landschap waren we blij dat het niet geregend had zodat we met onze kleine polo de bestemming veilig hebben bereikt.

De locatie was geweldig. Het personeel heel vriendelijk. En de guided activities waren ook erg leuk.

Er was in het begin wat onduidelijkheid over hoe we de guided activities moesten boeken. Maar dat is uiteindelijke helemaal goed gekomen.
