"Ein Traum!"

Die Unterkunft Mount Ceder liegt fernab von jeglicher Zivilisation, man kann wirklich so richtig zur Ruhe kommen. Nachdem man eine 30km lange Schotterstraße überwunden hat, erblickt man plötzlich eine wahre Oase aus Bäumen und Wiesen, Olivenbäume im Hinterland. Alles ist bestens gepflegt und gestaltet, wir hatten ein kleines Häuschen, das hervorragend ausgestattet war mit Geschirr und allem was dazugehört. Das zum Hotel zugehörige Restaurant bietet jeden Abend ein 3-Gänge Menü an, was ganz hervorragend geschmeckt hat. Zusätzlich kann man sich eine Box zusammenstellen lassen mit Grillgut und kann am eigenen Grill im Häuschen sein eigenes Braii( anders für Barbecue) veranstalten. Auch sehr zu empfehlen. Verschiedene Aktivitäten wie Erkundung der Umgebung mit Felsmalereien, Ausflug zum Canyon in der Nähe etc werden angeboten, auch kann man Paddeln, es gibt einen Mountbike Verleih. Aber das absolute Highlight war der Fluss, der am ganzen Anwesen vorbeifließt und zum sofortigen Schwimmen einlädt. So viel Wasser haben wir in unserem ganzen Südafrika Urlaub (abseits des Ozeans) nicht zu Gesicht bekommen. Fazit- unbedingt hinfahren, es lohnt sich!
