It is just an exceptional place. Peacefull and beautifull!

The location of the hotel is great.The accommodation is clean and offers exactly what is advertised.

The reception staff was not friendly on check-in. The food is mediocre at best and overpriced.

Prachtige locatie. In een mooie omgeving.Omdat de huizen ver uiteen liggen is de privacy geweldig. Niet echt veel te ondernemen maar DAT is juist de charme: rust, fantastisch uitzicht, zwmmen in de rivier en een fenomenale sterrenhemel Mensen zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Warm aanbevolen.

We had a wonderful stay at Mount Cedar. The setting is peaceful and beautifully maintained, with comfortable accommodation and thoughtful attention to detail throughout. A perfect place to relax and unwind—we would happily return and recommend it to others.

Loved all of it.

The interior is unique. These are separate, cave-like houses. The house had a kitchen (stocked with milk, coffee, and water) and three beds. There was parking nearby, in a fenced area. there was even a fireplace

It was raining outside, and the rain could be heard inside the house. In the morning, we went to the hiking "arch", which was about an hour’s drive from the wine house where I picked up a hiking permit. Also, the internet does not work in the rooms — it is only available in the lobby.

Perfect location for a breakaway. My family enjoyed the peace of no reception and the beauty of nature surrounding us. I liked that the accommodation was private with houses located at a distance from each other.

Il y avait le feu dans le Cederberg depuis une dizaine de jours, et tous les chemins de randonnée étaient fermés, si bien qu'il n'y avait plus d'activité à faire. L'établissement aurait pu nous prévenir, afin que nous modifions notre réservation.

Amazing location — quiet, remote, and far away from the outside world. You really feel deeply connected with nature. The proximity of the stream attracts many birds, which adds to the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The houses are very well equipped, with a thoughtfully designed kitchen, good bathroom facilities, and air conditioning in the bedroom, which is very welcome during the summer months. The outdoor seating with a built-in braai is a lovely touch. Great hiking opportunities and natural pools where you can cool down complete the experience.

The restaurant enjoys a lovely setting, and with a bit more refinement in the food, it could be outstanding.
