Great view, lovely pool, although chilly up here so we didn’t use it. They have a restaurant where we ate. Food was great & breakfast sufficient.

No fan in room. The road up to the accomodation is “challenging” on a scooter. A little rough.

The host was nice, had a good view and the available car park. Cabin was spacious

Just found out that they provide a mountain tour on a little jeep, which unfortunately woke us up at 4am as they warm up the jeep next to our cabin. The bathroom was a bit smelly sometimes, but the host was quick to clean them. Also, clean pool would be nice

The property looks even better in person, which is rare. The landscaping is beautiful. The bed in my cottage was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. The mattress was extremely nice. Lots of pillows too. And very vibey- warm lighting! We ended up extending two extra nights because of the comfortable bed. The power went out for about an hour every day from the wind, yes. But it isn’t their fault. You’re out in nature on top of a mountain. It always came back quickly. The pool is a nice temperature for swimming when the sun is out. It’s not a heated pool. And there are nice lounge chairs. The owners are super friendly and helpful. I see some reviews about the last hill leading to the property being scary and no driver would attempt it. This made me nervous. But actually, if you’re an experienced motorbiker, it’s no problem, really. I recommend arriving in daylight though. I didn’t, and it was a very dark drive. If you are arriving from the south, I do not recommend taking Jalan Culali with an automatic motorbike and two people + luggage. You can find the road by searching “The Kuyuan.” It is very steep (with gears, it’s okay). Try the road southeast of that, closer to the lake (Danau Batur).

Good rooms, storage spaces, comfortable bed, mosquito net (but there are no mosquitoes at all). Spacious bathroom, good shower, good pressure and hot water. Nice swimming pool. The garden and the houses are very well maintained. Very clean property. Also offered to clean the room everyday. We stayed 8 nights at Pondok Bali cottage. It was really great. Delicious food, friendly people. Radia was often our driver and asked very reasonable prices. They gave us free fruit, cookies, fresh fruit and more. Flies: During the day, there are a lot of flies. But this is the case with all accommodations in the region!!! All the hotels and homestays have flies in the area. At Pondok cottage, they have fans and ventilators in the dining area to keep the flies away while you eat. A mosquito net is provided in the room for the flies, but you actually don't need it because once the sun sets, the flies are gone. And there are absolutely no mosquitoes. We had nice evenings with other guests and with the family. Thank you so much! You are an amazing family!

WIFI: There is wifi, but it's not very strong. Sometimes during the day wifi can be very good, sometimes it is weak. But the owners are planning to improve the WIFI. We stayed at Pondok for 8 days, we work remotely so the WIFI is important for us. The wifi is best in the dining area but weak in the rooms. Since we had daily online meetings, we went to the neighboring accommodation for our meetings for optimal wifi.

We stayed there only one night. So everything was good. Pool is smaller than we expected, but it was pretty cold outside, so we didn’t swim. Room was nice. Also the owner offered us free tea/coffee.

Wi-Fi wasn’t working properly during our stay. The speed was so dreadful so we couldn’t use any messenger to text. The door lock wasn’t in good condition too. We asked them help us to close door every time.

Ketut and Radia and all the staff made my friend and I feel so welcomed. They invited us to their family’s ceremony and were so inclusive and kind. Such amazing hospitality and was an amazing start to our time in Bali. I highly recommend staying here if you plan on coming to Kintamani.

We stayed three nights and never had the bin for the toilet changed out. Other than that it was perfect!
