Nice hotel with helpful staff! Amazing food and good vibes

The comfortable bungalows, all disseminated around the swimming pool but each having its own terrace and little patch of garden to keep everyone's intimacy. The clean and cosy rooms and the good bathroom. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.

If you come with your own car, the access road can be impressive the first time, but you quickly get used to it. Parking there is not easy, but luckily some member of the staff is usually around to guide you.

The staff and owners are very lovely people. They helped me a lot and I saw them extending this kindness to other guests. The room was beautiful, bathroom spacious and stylish. Hot water, clean, fresh high quality linen and towels. I loved the small details often missing in other rooms in Asia, like coat hangers, good storage, multiple electric sockets. They are taking care of their business well. And the view is great, a nice calm place. Thank you so much:) Oh!!! I nearly forgot, the food! Try the fish. The owner cooks amazingly. Great after a hike.

Everything! Fantastic family owned villa 🤗 So friendly. A+ highly recommend staying here. Mt. Batur 5mins up the road. If not climbing, the scenery is stunning. Best bathroom we've had so far.

Stayed for two nights at the Pondok Cottage. One of the best places I’ve stayed in my whole holiday in Bali. Perfect place to stay thanks to the perfect organisation that the family runs the cottage! They organise the whole activities that the area offers, such as the trekking on the volcano, hot natural springs, coffee plantation and ATV/4wD experience. We rely on Wayan which is the guy that will look after the booking and most luckily your driver! The Cottage offers also a mini restaurant open all day! They cook delicious local foods! Btw they also offer free transportation! Amazing!

Nothing wrong

The moment we first got there two amazing staff members that run the place greeted us and instantly treated us like family, asking us if we want any drinks hot or cold and food etc. They went over and beyond for us during our two night stay. We stayed here as we wanted to hike mt Batur. We didn’t have a booking so we asked one of the staff and within minutes, we was on the tour for the next morning with either a 2-1 or 4-1 guide all for 400k PP (£20) then if we wanted hot springs for when we got back it was 150k pp (£7.50). What amazed me was the fact the tour for the hike started at 4am at 3:30an both people who run the place was up and making us coffee or tea and some toast. Like I said they went over and beyond for us. When we finished the hike and got back they then made us breakfast and took us to the hot springs just after and also picked us up from the hot springs (all free of charge) when we got back they brought us some local fruit to try and again was asking if we needed drinks or anything. The place is spotless and family ran, the little cottage was so clean, bed was so comfortable and everything was perfect. I could literally go on for hours about how amazing this place was. It’s so picturesque, location is amazing, food is amazing. Staff are out of this world. By far my favourite stay in Bali.
