Due to its rural location access to the property is a gravel mountain access track, although it has been resurfaced,it is subject to weather erosion so please drive slowly Low sports cars may struggle, please contact us for advice. Please note that pets are not allowed at Butt Lodge. Please note that we recommend taking out travel insurance to cover the cost of cancellations caused by disruptions to the ferry services or other unforeseen circumstances. "Fabulous stay"

Beautiful peaceful location , many walks from the property . We had a lovely room , very clean and comfortable with quality toiletries and hospitality tray , fresh milk daily . Kath and Mac were very welcoming snd hospitable, we were well looked after . Breakfast was excellent and we were fortunate to be able to have our evening meal there in one night of our stay . It was superb , made with locally sourced ingredients. Mac is a very good chef .
