Sutton Lodge with Hot Tub

The place had so much room was a lot bigger than I expected. The facilities were amazing, the food in the golf club was unreal 7 adults a with 3 drinks each came to £30 pp so cheap.

Only think was the pull out bed was so uncomfortable that’s the only thing.

Spacious,homely, hot tub, lovely quiet location.

Big cobwebs on the wi down and a lot of dust left on the fireplace e and side tables.

Spacious.

It was clean and tidy, great location

Only down side was the bed wasn’t great, could feel the springs in your back

Position of the lodge and the view were amazing.

The lodge was a great size with loads of room in the living area. The bedrooms were a nice size but The beds were uncomfortable you could feel the springs all night. The hot tub was a great size but all the head rest were missing and the lid was falling apart and all the handles were broken, which made it very difficult to take off and put back on again. The lodge was. Mainly clean but the attention to detail was missing it had alot of cob webs if the windows and lights.

We where checked into the wrong lodge, we paid for a luxury lodge and the first night was in a stranded lodge, the lodge was grubby, there was food on the floor and the dish washer stunk the place out, someone else was checked into our luxury lodge our first night and had the benefit of this. The next day we where given 10mins to pack everything up, we where there celebrating a 40th birthday so we can imagine the stuff we had to pack away, we had also had drinks on the morning so where unable to drive maaning we have to carry everything to the new lodge and cancel our trip to york, to say we where annoyed is a understatement, there was no help from staff what so ever and we only found out we where in the wrong lodge due to not being given the correct keys for the first lodge and checking with reception what was happening, I have email my complaint direct but have yet to hear anything back.

Fantastic property and the facility’s was very good fantastic location with lovely views. It had everything you needed for your stay

Our only niggle was we booked it for 8 people but could only find 6 towels. The pull out bed there was no sheet to go on the mattress which was stained. And the spare pillows was stained and no quilt cover for the duvet cover for that bed either

Location and its a beautiful laid out lodge full of all the amenities you need, however it was poorly looked after and ill maintained in and outside on the terrace and hot tub area, needs some work and tlc to bring it back to life amd a good clean but overall good value for money and would recommend once all little niggles been sorted out

Hot tub needs maintenance, jets more powerful, terrace cleaning so don't take muck in hot tub the searing area left to wrack and ruin needs new cushions , shower need fixing both dripping, shower door kept falling off, thr place was filthy needed a good deep clean smelled of mucky water need new mop and bucket need new mat for hot tub and one inside so don't ruin wooden floor and bin needs fixing
