Schöne, aus hochwertigen Holz gebaute Bungalows mitten im Jungle. Man hat eine tolle Aussicht auf das dichte Grün des Urwalds und kann mit etwas Glück direkt vom Balkon aus Orang Utans beobachten. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und können ganz flexibel verschiedene Jungle Touren anbieten oder andere Dinge nach Bedarf organisieren.

Alles hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Man sollte nur wissen, dass die Fahrt von und nach Medan 4 Stunden dauern kann.

Bereits im Dschungel gelegene, sehr gepflegte Anlage. Sehr schöner, individuell eingerichteter Bungalow.

In Bukit Lawang gibt es nur auf der anderen Flussseite eine Straße, was bedeutet, dass man zum Erreichen der Anlage noch etwa 800m zu Fuß gehen muss. Das beinhaltet eine Hängebrücke und geschätzt 200 steile Stufen. Dafür ist man eben schon im Dschungel und es häbe Träger, aber das Fehlen jeglicher Hinweise in der Beschreibung bei der Buchung ist gar nicht in Ordnung.

Le bungalow était très beau et très confortable. Le cadre est incroyable, avec un accès direct à la jungle et une vue sur la nature, au calme à l’écart du village tout en restant proche. Toutes les excursions peuvent être organisées directement sur place, ce qui est très pratique !

Martina and I had a fantastic time during our stay and we were totally spoiled with our own private guide, Ling, who was an amazing package or charisma, patience, knowledge and hospitality. You are almost guaranteed to see orang-utans as well as other primates. Is your feet are too sore for another day walking, then you can have a great tire-raft ride back to the bungalows. Posizione fantastica all’interno della foresta pluviale, è possibile vedere oranghi e scimmie anche dai balconi. Personale molto cortese e disponibile, guide della giungla molto brave e simpatiche. Ristorante buono

Great staff, all inquiries solved, felt like home. Family atmosphere, great food and view. You need to be quite fit to get there though :)

Amazing location.

We spent one night in the bungalow and did a 2D/1N tour in the jungle - it was amazing! The setting of our bungalows with the view directly into the jungle is fantastic (observing the monkeys in the morning) was great and the trek was just wonderful. Our guides Wong and Budi were the best and made it so much fun - for us and, importantly, the children. Also, the food in the jungle camp was amazing - the green curry still rated as one of the best dinners by our kids after 2.5 weeks in Indonesia. So, bottom line, a massive "thank you" (or "terima khasi" as Wong taught us) to the OTR team!
