This accommodation is very close to the national park and so we did not have to go too far to start our 5 hour jungle trek. The staff were all fantastic - the guys who carried our 20kg cases up the 285 stairs were amazing. The reception staff who waited til 1am to check us in were helpful and spoke good English. The food was also very nice and the driver was friendly and navigated the crazy roads brilliantly.

You have to cross a very wobbly rope bridge and then climb 285 steps to get to the property which was tricky in the dark. There’s no hot water for the shower. However it’s still worth staying here to get an early start on the trek.

Very comfortable jungle chic bungalow accommodation with helpful, friendly staff who took care of everything (airport pick up, booking a jungle trek etc). The location is on a hill on the outskirts of town, meaning the views over the jungle are beautiful and the overall ambience is calm and restful. Great base to explore the area.

The place is located next to the jungle so you get nice morning visits of the monkeys while you have breakfast. The bungalow had beautiful views to the jungle and was very integrated in the environment. The staff was super nice and helpful; they helped us with our transfer from and to the airport and gave us recommendations for our trek. The trek was an amazing experience and we want to specially thank to our guide Mr Laughing! Also special mention to the delicious food that they provide (further than the super nice breakfast) and their great quality-price! Thanks for everything we will definitely come back!!

We travelled with our Kids (4/9/10) and everything was perfect. Beginning with the pick up at Airport and arriving Late evening, the 1-day Jungle Trip with the River Tour, the Organisation of the elephant day, the tuk tuk tour through soy-bean production, Tofu production and palmoil explanations and at least the Taxi to the Airport in the middle of the Night! Thanks to the Manager Joe with his Perfect Team who let us feel Most welcome, safe all the time in every moment and all of the Team did an amazing Job ! At the Lodge and the Jungle Trip we saw all Kinds of Monkeys and Orang utans . It was magic! Thanks also to chi-chi and Addi who guided us safe through the Jungle as a Family without competition and in our pace! Sometimes they Took the Little one ; she loved it.

It was a pitty but the Best Drink on the menu with Ginger and lemongrass we diacovered at our last day …:-)

Right next to the national park, really kind and helpful staff. Amazing concentrations of fantastic wildlife. Mawan who owns the place is extremely helpful.

The guides are really friendly and helpful but their knowledge level is quite low. Some of the rooms are very tired. The newer ones are worth the extra.

We had a lovely 2 nights here with our 2 older boys. The location is the best right by the jungle and in a peaceful and beautiful setting with lovely views. It is worth the 300 steps up! Also worth paying someone to carry your luggage! The rooms were charming with good fans and the boys loved the Hornbill room on their second night. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We did the day orangutang tour with tubing back and it was amazing. We had a variety of delicious fruit for a snack and nasi goreng for lunch. We saw so many orangutans and got close to a very big male. The swim in the river and tubing back was a lovely end to a memorable day. It is the best tour we have done in Indonesia so far.
