shower, no electricity during the day in the whole island, no towels for the guests, expensive food

- close to some nice sunset spots - when we had to leave Jose accompanied us to the boat, which was very appreciated

- We did not have a mosquito net in the room, although this was stated on booking.com. We told the staff and they said they would take care of it. Unfortunately, no mosquito net was installed during our entire stay, which was rather unpleasant at night - We were there for four nights and the room was not cleaned once. It got very dirty after a few days, the towels were not fresh anymore and the bin was overflowing - One of the dogs there is very playful and we got quite a few scratches from him

Okay - so Rosario Islands are really pretty and they're are really two ways to stay here. One option is to stay in one of the super swank places where you really just don't leave - eat, drink, sleep, beach in one place. They other is to stay at one of the eco-resorts off the beach like here. We did both and to be honest - preferred the latter. Las Flores Econativo is located near everything but you'll have to do a bit of exploring to find it! We visited all the beaches from here as well as some of the resorts and also got to spend time at some of the local restaurants and bars located on the interior of the island where the real island experience exists! We loved our time here. It is simple but super affordable in a location that really is not! The staff were really kind. I'd recommend!

I didn’t like much about it but I think is because I had a different idea in my mind about it

it’s too simply for me. the beach is not close really rustic and in the island at night there are not even places to eat. the owners are really friendly and try to make you feel at home. if you want to get away from everything go for it but not for me at all I didn’t enjoy it.

Ok - so Las Flores is slightly inland but there are several beaches within walking distance. The hostel is lovely, there’s a parrot around and the owners are really lovely! If you ask you can do the plankton tour and also go fishing! The only public beach is Playa libre which is a 20min walk, you will have to pay to use sun beds (30,000 per bed). Lots of tourist boats pull up on the beach so loses its vibe for us. Food is expensive at around 50,000 average meal at playa libre, if you want to save money use Las flores their meals are equally as good and half the price. Bora Bora - private but you can use if you pay for beds and drinks. Approx 10min walk Habanero - this is a hostel, we went here for lunch one day (30,000 per meal) and used their beds which they were ok with. Approx 10mins (next to Bora Bora) Ecohotel La Cocotera - really nice little beach, but we were asked to pay 20,000 each to sit on the sand so it was a bit from us…don’t let that deter you though, we may have just been unlucky. 15mins walk. Gente De Mar - private, OUR FAVE but at the far end of the island. You will need to buy a drink which are expensive but in our opinion worth it.

No complaints from us, just for others it is basic/rustic living. All your needs are covered and actually we like a no frills experience.

Everything went good

The attention from the staff was amazing. They work really hard and were helpful. They also were very responsive whenever needed. They were also flexible with preparing food.

We would have liked to know about the limitations of water and electricity access before making our reservation. We are not fuzzy about it but we think it is fair to make people aware of it beforehand.
