"I liked being here. The staff is great. But it involves some sacrifices."

The location is a bit challenging. It's in the interior of the island and you must walk a bit to get to the beaches. The positive thing is that you will see the native culture which exists here. If you stay at a beach place, you'll probably never see how the natives live.

Power is off during the day, for the most part. Sometimes, the water is off as well.

"Really great time."

The staff were super nice and always helpul!! they helped us to find everything we were looking for (the little village and the dock we had to go for our boat). We did the fishing activity and it was the best time ever! A super kind father (Jose) and his son took us on a tour of the islands, then you fish for a good 1h30 and after we did snorkeling!! the activity lasted for a good 4 hours and you have the chance to eat what you fish at night for free!! For the price of 100,000 pesos you really get the most of it, we really recommand:) Joris and Alexia

the room was perfect, the only thing is that You need to pay in cash and there is only one place to retire money so be prepared before coming to the island.

Very friendly hosts, lovely location very close to the small village and smaller beaches :) The hosts offer day trips as well as dinner - highly recommended!

The electricity and WiFi didn't work properly.

The staff is friendly and the parrot is fun

However, youre located right in the middle of a village. Theres no air, its unbearably hot, both during the day and night. Thr beach is nowhere near!! The nearest "beach" is a 7min walk where you have to pay, the real beach is a 25 min walk away! On the weekend the village plays extremely loud music non stop the whole weekend. You wont be able to sleep at all. Be warned. I moved Saturdays because it was unbearable. Also very unsafe during that time as sketchy party goers are all around. Better stay somewhere near the beach, its much cooler and quiet! I moved to the hamaquera hostel and it was so much better
