Muito bem localizado em Hoedspruit, proximidade com o aeroporto, acesso facilitado sem grandes trechos de estrada de terra e em um reserva privada espetacular.

Uma das melhores experiências que poderíamos ter tido! Foi tudo perfeito, tudo preparado com tanto carinho que não dava vontade de deixar o hotel! Comida excelente, os funcionários são tão gentis e solistas! Na própria reserva privada do hotel vimos muitos animais. Foi tudo perfeito! Ficamos muito felizes com nossa estadia. Indicamos demais.

Beautiful bush and grounds, nicely decorated common area. Friendly stuff.

The lodge deserves only 3 stars. The game drives at the reserve are not interesting, you need to visit the Kruger park (1,5 hours away) and pay the entrance fee, or visit the neighbouring private reserve. Internet connection is poor. The water in the faucet was not available until 8 in the morning and shower did not provide comfortable water temperature (it was switching from cold to very hot). The food is ordinary, little fruit or vegetables, the same dish is served to everybody. The only choice you can make is for breakfast. There’s no list of available drinks with their prices. We were surprised with a huge bill only at the end of our stay. So ask many questions at the beginning as the owner tends to make many promises that she later does not deliver.

The staff was exceptional and they really treated me and my wife as royalty,we where also recieved with warm open arms and our comfort and experience was the staff members priority

La situation géographique

Le manque d’entretien, pas de maintenance, piscine impropre avec matériels détériorés. La réserve privée a très peu d’intérêt : très peu d’animaux à observer. Le système wifi très peu efficace, même dans le lobby. Ne réagit pas rapidement aux e-mails.

Le lodge est magnifique. Les chambres sont superbes. Les repas succulents. Les personnel est exceptionnel. Les repas succulent. Nous sommes traités au petit soin.

Seulement les safaris sont moins intéressant. Par contre, il y a beaucoup de giraffes.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Maroelani Lodge. Francis and all the staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and kind. They made us feel at home from the very first moment and truly went above and beyond to fulfill every wish we had. It felt like they could read our minds and were always ready to help with anything we needed. We originally had another accommodation booked, but due to bad weather, it was suddenly canceled. Francis was extremely kind and helped us in this difficult situation by offering us a room for the remaining days – and even upgraded us. Without her, we honestly don’t know what we would have done. Overall, we can highly recommend Maroelani Lodge to anyone. It’s a special place with amazing people. If we ever get the chance to come back, we will definitely stay here again.
