Silver Hill Ecovillage

We absolutely loved our stay here. The hotel surpassed our expectations! The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The common areas are also very comfortable. But what makes this place special is the peace and beautiful surroundings. On top of that, the food is beyond delicious, with completely different dishes at every meal. If you're looking for something off the beaten track, look no further.

This is an absolute gem in the jungle, the place is so beautifully designed and we were taken care of so well. The owner is great, he is like your favorite biology teacher showing all that nature in the area has to offer. All employees are so kind and the food they offered was delicious and creative. Because the pool is filled with water from the river, it has cool water temperature which was so enjoyable in the jungle heat. Highly recommended!

I really liked the people. Kind and responsive. We felt like home. The location is far away, but it is magical. One day is not enough there, take at least 2 days. We were lucky and we were the only guests.

The room is very basic, no air conditioning, but it's not hot. Warn the tuk-tuk in advance that the road is difficult, so that he does not ask for money above.

Amazing place to stay! Good value for money, the natural pool is great (filled with river water, so no chemicals). Lovely staff that make great food and speak good English.

The way up may be challenging, but the staff is there to help you! Ask them about the best route to get there, since there are 2 roads leading there (we accidentally took the bumpy road).

The food was amazing! They brought us a feast for both breakfast, and dinner as well as asked our preferences. The staff came down to get us as well as drove as back down since the road is a little sketchy. The hotel manager/owner was extremely kind and pointed out some animals for my daughter to see. I really loved the rock pool that was mineral water from the river and the view from the pool was gorgeous! Very peaceful It did not bother us but the room has open slats so the bed has a bug net (which works well). This is nothing bad to the hotel just a warning to people scared of bugs.

Bungalow quiet basic.

Amazing place with great food. We loved the cocktails specially the tropical fruit Mojitos. Really refreshing in the hot weather. We had papaya and water melon mojitos.... wow. Pool is amazing and you can feel the freshness. Tracking is highly recommended. Very informal place and you feel relaxed the moment you enter silver hill.

Excellent location, food and staff. Amazing sun set. Loved the nature walks and visit to the temple. Don’t go for a day if you can. Spend a few days visiting places nearby and it’s well worth it.

Perfect relaxing holiday. Amazing views, great food, friendly staff, Well worth the visit. Great value for money. Loved the cocktails. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to experience all activities. You should spend at least 3 days to experience what Silver Hill has to offer.
