Silver Hill Ecovillage

Very small remote resort with the best jungle view we had during our trip. Food is home made and tasted very nice. Did a walk to the top of a hill and on the way we visited a hidden cave temple from the same period as the golden temple in Dambulla. Very special. Fantastic view at the top of the hill.

The beds are a bit hard for me..

Silver Hill exceeded our expectations, so we extended our stay to 6 nights. The food is remarkable, making it the best place we've stayed in Sri Lanka and the ideal spot to experience the country's cuisine and nature. The cocktails were so tasty we had one with every meal. Highly recommend this place. The price is very reasonable, offering an authentic experience without the hustle and bustle of tourist areas.

Nothing at all

Beautiful location away from the bustle, with only nature sounds. Nice food with lots of variety - let them know if you dont want it tourist bland. Peace and quiet.

No shelf or table in the room so you needed to live out of your bags. Bed a bit firm.

Peaceful, peaceful. Only birds and water sounds. Mesmerising view. Great place to relax and decompress. Lovely host who is very passionate about his organic farm. Large meal portions but you need to ask for spicy if you don't want tourist level flavour.

Thecroom is a little spartan - could benefit from some shelving. Bed one of the least comfortable in our 2 months touring.

Absolutely stunning place. Great food and friendly host. A bit out of the way through a rough road but worth it!

This spot in Sri Lanka? It's top-notch and so relaxing. The food's out of this world, the vibe's chill, and the hikes? Unreal. Love the cocktails. Don't skip the temple hike; it's a must-do. Plan to hang around for at least three days to soak up all the goodness. They arranged a taxi from the airport for Rs 20,000 with an English-speaking driver, and the journey was smooth

This is the best place in Sri Lanka for us. Best food, environment, and hikes! Tips: Try the Tropical fruit Mojitos, unbelievably refreshing. Get Silver Hill to arrange transport. We didn't have any issues with the transport provided by Silver Hill, but other guests had issues with the taxi they got from the Airport directly. Go on the temple hike. Spend at least 3 days to experience the place fully.

This was a unique and amazing property high in the jungle. The natural water swimming pool was the best pool of the trip-it did have frogs but that added to the experience. It was an infinity pool that overlooked the jungle. The food was also first class. Dinner was made by locals in an outdoor kitchen. We had seven different dishes with a lot of the food from the gardens of the property. The host was very friendly.

There was a very long winding, steep road up to the property. We had rented a Tuk Tuk and drove it up the path. It did make it but be aware that it may be difficult.
