Summit Mountain Lodge and Steakhouse

It was nice they offered some options for breakfast and the lodge was beautiful.

We paid over $400 for a small cabin that was over run with mice, which woke us up in the middle of the night as they were getting into our bags of groceries. We shined our phone flashlights around the room when we woke up to the noise and saw them all - I didn’t sleep the rest of the night and my husband had to go through and throw out all the food that was open and contaminated. Lots of money wasted on what we thought would be one of our most enjoyable luxury cabin rentals. Very disappointed.

The location. We stayed in a cabin and everything was nice and clean and comfortable.

The wall unit heater was very loud and the breakfast was roadside motel grade. The restaurant was not open as it was off season so we mostly ate elsewhere. Despite these things I would stay there again.

De accomodatie was erg gezellig en volledig uitgerust. De eigenaar is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het uitzicht is geweldig.

Er rijdt savonds en snachts regelmatig een lange trein voorbij het complex. Onze nachtrust werd verstoord.

ראשית המקום סגור היה. לא היה צוות אלא פתק. הבטיחו אינטרנט חינם . כאשר הגענו התברר שזה רק בשטחים הציבוריים. הבעיה היו סגורים. הגענו לאחר נסיעה ארוכה כאשר מפורסם שיש מסעדה במקום. רק שהמסעדה הייתה סגורה ונאלצנו לנסוע שעה הלוך חזור כדי לאכול בעיירה קרובה.

Location is great, staff are wonderful, everything we need was accommodated. Super

Breakfast wasn’t the best because it was the last night of the season before they close down! Understandable

In den Cabins der Unterkunft gibt es kein Wifi, dies haben wir erst bei der Ankunft erfahren und wird unseres Erachtens bei Booking.com nicht deutlich genug hervorgehoben. Reguläres Handynetz war auch nicht verfügbar. Natürlich kann es auch mal schön sein nicht durchgehend erreichbar zu sein, aber dies sollte deutlich erwähnt werden. Das Frühstück ist laut Beschreibung ein Basic Continental Breakfast. Die Bilder zeigen deutlich, dass es wirklich sehr sehr Basic war, hier hätten wir bei dem Preis deutlich mehr erwartet. Lautstärke: Das Hotel ist unweit einer sehr stark befahrenen Bahnstrecke gelegen. Häufiger Güterverkehr auch die Nacht durch kann störend sein. Ebenso war der alte Kühlschrank im Zimmer sehr laut. Aufgrund der genannten Punkte mussten wir leider 2 Tage vorher abreisen.
