Summit Mountain Lodge and Steakhouse

Very unique with great staff and restaurant. Views toward Glacier NP mountains are wonderful. Restaurant onsite, great menu choices and food quality were top-notch. Very clean and comfortable. Staff was just super. Hats off to owners for their commitment to customer care.

No internet in cabin

We had a 2 bedroom cabin and it was in the woods (which we loved) but had sort of a strange smell. That said, it was comfortable and held us for the night we needed. We booked super last minute and were really lucky to have found the room. The view was beyond compare. They used students from around the world as help which was lovely to get to speak with each of them.

The restaurant was super busy but the food was excellent. We also had breakfast and spent time in the lodge area the next morning which was nice.

Loved the location. It is a beautiful setting. Enjoyed having the restaurant on site. Although we did not take advantage of the complimentary breakfast, it was a nice option.

We could have used a toaster in our cabin. Being so close to the train track. I thought the trains were coming right through the cabin each night.

Property had no air conditioning even though it is listed in amenities that it does. Also not located on the main property & this was not disclosed. No hot water in the showers. Owner was unresponsive about issues & when he did reach out he was rude & unhelpful. Worst stay I’ve ever had will not be using booking again.

Lots of space and all that you need for a stay near Glacier.

We had to check in at the steakhouse then drive 12mi to the lodging. It was a strange to do so and cost us an extra 25min.

We liked the location and the scenery was beautiful. Our cabin was perfect for two people.

Our cabin had a constant running toilet and and every night we had mice in the kitchen. We reported it and they set traps but did not fix the toilet from running. We caught two mice but I am certain there are more. Perhaps an exterminator needs to be called to take care of it?

Amazing view of the mountains and the cabin was beautiful inside and immaculately clean.

Wi-fi only available at the big lodge, and only during certain hours.
