Summit Mountain Lodge and Steakhouse

We missed the front desk staff, we arrived from our drive up from landing in Bozeman around 8-9pm . Our information for our room was left so we could get into our cabin. Cabin was large enough to comfortably sleep our family of 3 and it was clean.

I didn't really like that our room key code was left pinned to the outside door, the note let us know they had a breakfast but didn't let us know wifi password. No way to get it since nobody was around when we got there, still light out but nobody around. When we called the next day for the WiFi password, we could hardly understand the lady and the password we were given was wrong. I had even repeated it back to her. I understand the idea is to probably disconnect but we needed to check weather to plan clothing, check reservations, etc. No TV either which was okay but would have been nice to check weather. Very remote, we liked that but needs more lighting at night near cabins. I had on the porch light and had to go inside and open the blinds and turn the lights on the car on to load the night before we checked-out. With there being a very real chance of encountering a bear or moose, you don't want to be out at night and not have light to see. It's a lovely property but my family would have loved to have been able to see the water in front of the cabin, I can only imagine what wildlife comes near and would habe been great to spot from the cabin but it's very grown up so you can't really see much of anything. The bush next to the cabin was way overgrown. My son hit his foot on a large rock beside it. Tree roots caused me to stumble a couple times going back and forth from car to cabin. They are right next to the step that lead up to the cabin so be extra careful when carrying something, you can't see them. Not a bad cabin at all but just expecting a better view, WiFi, and comfortable beds.

It was nice they offered some options for breakfast and the lodge was beautiful.

We paid over $400 for a small cabin that was over run with mice, which woke us up in the middle of the night as they were getting into our bags of groceries. We shined our phone flashlights around the room when we woke up to the noise and saw them all - I didn’t sleep the rest of the night and my husband had to go through and throw out all the food that was open and contaminated. Lots of money wasted on what we thought would be one of our most enjoyable luxury cabin rentals. Very disappointed.

The location. We stayed in a cabin and everything was nice and clean and comfortable.

The wall unit heater was very loud and the breakfast was roadside motel grade. The restaurant was not open as it was off season so we mostly ate elsewhere. Despite these things I would stay there again.

De accomodatie was erg gezellig en volledig uitgerust. De eigenaar is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het uitzicht is geweldig.

Er rijdt savonds en snachts regelmatig een lange trein voorbij het complex. Onze nachtrust werd verstoord.

ראשית המקום סגור היה. לא היה צוות אלא פתק. הבטיחו אינטרנט חינם . כאשר הגענו התברר שזה רק בשטחים הציבוריים. הבעיה היו סגורים. הגענו לאחר נסיעה ארוכה כאשר מפורסם שיש מסעדה במקום. רק שהמסעדה הייתה סגורה ונאלצנו לנסוע שעה הלוך חזור כדי לאכול בעיירה קרובה.

Location is great, staff are wonderful, everything we need was accommodated. Super
