Summit Mountain Lodge and Steakhouse

breakfast was a 2 out of 10 poor selections

The cabin we stayed in was quaint, and well furnished. We had dinner at the steakhouse and it was amazing! The staff were all very friendly and helpful

It is located near the railroad tracks and trains were quite frequent during the night.

Great location! Such a beautiful view. It’s a very peaceful setting!

We didn’t have any heat.

Very clean. In the woods. Scenic views right off the cabin. Nice breakfast. Rustic log cabins. The beds were super firm.

Refrigerator could be a bit bigger. Wi-Fi could be improved. There was no TV, however, someone should not expect TV on top of a mountain.

Lovely log cabin feel. Nice and cosy and warm, lovely personal greeting from the owner operator Ted, who spent a lot of time telling us about the area and giving us great advice about where to go in Glacier National Park. Nice outlook onto a pond, where moose occasionally visit apparently.

The train track nearby was a bit noisy during the night. With the heater going, it created enough white noise to mask the rumbling of the trains but I can imagine it could be quite difficult to get a good night's sleep in the warmer months.

Best accommodations in the area if going to East Glacier. Very responsive hosts. Cabin is very clean, cozy, and comfortable. Beautiful new lodge. Didn't have the pleasure of eating at the restaurant as it isn't open for the season yet.
