" YOLO " LOVELY COTTAGE

Waking up to the most breathtaking view and having a wonderful breakfast served was such a treat. The atmosphere and surroundings off this place is unbeatable. The family has done a fantastic job with the terasse with recliner chairs and dinner table all to enjoy the view. We had dinner here every night - it was the best we have had so far on our trip. Wonderful and so helpful family. We will have to come back to Yolo again .

Amazing cottage, amazing view, amazing family. I am missing this place so much. Perfect place to relax and calm down. Location is also great. Breakfast the best we had in Sri Lanka. The bed is amazing and everything is very clean. Also the dinner made for us was very very very good! Thank you for everything we will be back

Breakfast, dinner, location, views, hospitality of the owners. Can't say enough good things about the family who run Yolo, so helpful and put on an amazing spread for each meal. Good to be out of town but they made it so easy to get in and out when we needed. Also, helped arrange transfers to get us to the next location. Can't recommend enough!

Magical view from a small cottage away from the main circus in Ella. The view is awesome! The family who runs the Business arr the most nicest and caring ones you can imagine. The breakfast and dinner was very very tasty and A LOT! Be sure to be hungry! They drove us everywhere and gave us Tipps about the Area in Ella which was very helpful. The Road to the little house is very steep, we were afraid to drive it with our own tuktuk, so they helped us. The cabin itself is very basic, Not very comfty (bathroom is not very nice) but wh n you step out on the balcony you easily forget about that. If you would like to have a great view, a quiet stay and A lot of Green nature than you should stay at Yolo lovely cottage. Thank you :)

Watershower Was Not very good and there was a chemical smell

Our hosts went out of their way to make sure we were looked after. The cottage is basic but excellent for the price and has everything you need. The view is spectacular and quiet, as we did not want to be in Ella central which is too noisy. The cottage is an eight minute tuk tuk ride to town, with the host lifting us everywhere, plus took us to the start of the sunrise hike. And they made us the best breakfast in sri lanka. Also don't miss walking down to Bees Honey for a meal.

Not an issue but be aware that the water pressure is very low. And no cupboard space.

The host family is so kind and attentive. The home cooked meals (breakfast and dinner) were exceptional and some of the best meals we had in Sri Lanka. The host communicated seamlessly with our driver and was generally very responsive via WhatsApp.

Overall we really appreciated our stay, but there could be more water pressure in the bathroom. Shower gel and shampoo would be nice additions. The bed was on the harder end of the spectrum.

The property looked amazing and was very comfortable. Surrounded by nature on all four sides, literally woke up to the sound of nature every morning. The food prepared by the host and family is delicious - home cooked Sri Lankan food! Will definitely recommend. They were also very helpful in telling us what places to visit which should be private. Thanks ! A good future.

Loved our stay at YOLO cottage- the host family were so friendly and warm and made us feel so welcome. The room was very clean and the views from the balcony are beautiful!
