124 steep stairs to climb: ok for me but need to be consider for people with difficulties.

Wonderful little homestay with kind, helpful hosts. Very clean and bright rooms. We arrived late after our train from Colombo so Chan’s Mom prepared a lovely homemade dinner for us (even made some of the curries mild for our children). Her aubergine curry is lush! The monkeys visited us for breakfast the first morning which our kids loved. They arranged tickets for us to visit the dance show on short notice. Chan and his family make sure you are comfortable, they are truly wonderful hosts.

Nothing really! Yes the stairs are a little bit cheeky to get there from the main road but we handled it with big backpacks just fine and our kids wizzed up.

The host family was extremely friendly. They cooked very special dinners and breakfasts for us, gave great advice on remote and beautiful hikes, and even arranged last minute train tickets for the train to Ella for us. The location is great, walking distance from the city centre but still far enough up the hill that you can enjoy the view and quietness

アジア3大祭りであるペラヘラを見るため施設を利用しました。仏歯寺の横を徒歩で通ればペラヘラの席から20分ほどで宿に着きました。ペラヘラ後はトゥクもつかまらないので近くてありがたかったです。オーナーも親切です。

お湯シャワーがでなかったのが残念でした。キャンディは気温が低めなので寒かったです。オーナーにちゃんと言っておけばお湯はでそうです。 道路から宿までの階段はきついですがその分景色が綺麗です。

We had a fantastic stay here. The owner and her mother and son were very kind. The food was amazing and they even sent me some recipes. Ask for Sri Lankan breakfast if you like local food. The location is great, close to the city centre, temple of the tooth, forest and dance theatre. Nice view from the breakfast/dinner area (see photo).

It is the building at the top of the stairs, we didn't know and accidentaly walked way into the forest before we realised.

The location was nice & very central to everything in Kandy, also the owners are really sweet, kind & extremely helpful.

The place is quite run down & not well maintained.
