Udawatta Kele (UK) Forest Lodge

Beautiful little lodge tucked away in the Udawatta Forest. The views from this place are spectacular! Rooms and bathrooms were very clean. The rooms were quite spacious too. Loved the jungle vibe in the bathroom. The breakfast experience was well worth it! The hosts are the nicest people you'll meet. Highly recommend, and we'll be back.

The room is really clean. The bathroom is really nice and the matress very confortable. The place is quiet so you are going to have a good night sleep. The family is really nice. Breakfast is not really good.

The location used in booking.com is not the right one, it’s the neighbour. The property is located on top of the hill and to access it you need to go up to 120 stairs and there is no possibility to call a tuk tuk or taxi because the road to access this hotel is private. The owner will sometimes come and pick you up but otherwise get ready to climb a steep long stair along with your luggage.

Lovely family that is making sure you enjoy your time at their place. Monkeys will accompany you (you are save behind the fence) for breakfast, which is fun. Breakfast was good and enjoyed my stay here!

Make sure you are prepared to walk up the 125 stairs to get to the place! But its worth the walk

We had a wonderful stay at the lodge. The hosts were incredibly hospitable and kind. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast with a view (and monkeys!) was lovely.

This is a beautiful property tucked up in the forest. Walking distance to town but far enough away from the busyness.. the owner is beautiful who can’t do enough to help or make you feel welcome.

Nothing.. trust me.. you get used to the stairs but I can imagine could be difficult with certain types of luggage
