The Whitegates Lodge

One of the best stays during the Sri Lanka trip. Room is clean, breakfast are out of this world and it's literally a minute away from the coast. Thanks to welcoming hosts for this great stay.

Обьект размещения расположен в тихом уединенном месте недалеко от Велигамы.Буквально в одной минуте ходьбы находится прекрасный пляж Whild beach,где можно купаться даже в несезон ( мы были в июле), т.к., из за расположенных волнорезов вода достаточно спокойна. Сам обьект представляет собой уютный дом в окружении прекрасно ухоженного сада.Однажды утром видели степенно гуляюшего по саду мангуста. Комната, в который мы жили довольно уютная, с достаточно большим окном.Рядом расположена кухня со всем необходимым.Хозяева- добрые, радушные люди, готовые во всем помочь своим гостям. Особенно хочу отметить необычайно вкусные ланкийские завтраки. Нам очень понравилось! Обязательно вернемся сюда снова!

We loved our stay here! Everything was better than our expectations: comfortable bed, shared kitchen, lovely garden and patio, friendly and helpful hosts. Also the position is great because is very close to the beach and the main road, but still very quiet. We will definitely come back here when we will visit Sri Lanka again :)

This was by far our favourite place we stayed on the trip. Not only did we make good friends with Denis & Taro, but the place was always spotless and refreshing to come back to each day. The AC was a real blessing, the breakfasts were delicious, they sorted us out with a scooter, laundry, bottled water etc. and it’s only 1 minute before you’re on a quiet tropical beach. Cannot recommend this homestay enough. Thank you guys so much. X

Really nice family-run property. Dinesh and his wife were very accommodating and welcomed us so warmly! Loved the fact that we could use the kitchen to cook and that a paid laundry option was available.

Just the few power cuts that happened, other than this it was absolutely perfect!

Amazing value for money, everything is new from your room to furniture to kitchen utensils, owner is very respectful and easy to communicate, attentive and trying to get what you need. Located in a strategic area right between busy Ahangama and Midigama, right in front of the beach. I initially booked 2 nights and booked extra three nights, I’m definitely coming back! Thank you so much!
