New furniture required for the lounge settee all the stuffing is coming out dining room table is marked chairs are bent occasional chairs are dirty and marked also the small table is stained

Nice place but a lot of mosquitoes

The property and its location in all fairness were ideal however very tired and needs a serious update. Nit saying this to be negative to the owners just saying it hoping they might look closer at it in future

There were blood spots on a pillow in the bedroom The place was infested with mosquitos and we were bitten to death on the first night. Short dash to garden centre for bug spray sorted that. It is advertised as self catering. Now you really wouldn’t want to try and cook anything in the rusty saucepans in the kitchen. The fridge smelt like something had died in it several months beforehand. The boiler was set to scald mode and would fire up at random intervals all night. The furniture whilst adequate 10 years ago is very very tired Chairs bent you couldn’t sit on A glass top table ready to collapse A tiny tv hung in the wall which you couldn’t watch anything in as it would just turn itself on and off Toilet cisterns which run continuously like white noise And only person I saw onsite was the man who cut grass No one in office at anytime

The Lodge has a good size and it is quite comfortable for 4 people. It has some outdoor furniture and lovely views. It was good to be able to bring our dog..

Everything was lovely, apart from many unexpected mosquitos and the slow internet connection. I would definitely recommend anyone staying to bring some mosquito repellent. We couldn't sleep with so many mosquitos buzzing and biting us. When trying to watch a movie, the internet connection kept breaking up.

Ideal location for our needs. Very relaxing place.

The accommodation was clean and tidy, and had everything we needed for a short break. The location was great for the train station which we could see from the window and the local scenery was beautiful. The staff, although not present on site, were easily contactable and went out of their way to help us as we had a family emergency while staying on site.

The accommodation was abit tired in places, and there wasn't a shop on site or local convenience store within walking distance (with 2 small children).

Very convenient for the watercress line, well equipped lodge lots of space for the 5 of us.

Fantastic location next to the beautiful Watercress Line. The rooms were clean and spacious, lots of storage facilities with a fully furnished kitchen. Everything you need for a home away from home. The children loved it and can't wait to come back!

Some of the furniture needed.updating, clock not working no instructions for tele small side table badly stained. Settee uncomfortable

Location, spacious, appreciate washing machine, dishwasher and downstairs toilet

Lack of a range of cooking equipment - no oven proof dishes yet 4 x frying pans. Property needed a good in-depth clean and some maintenance/decorative repairs
