Location Fabulous, very relaxing time spent with family, will be back

Very spacious lodge and perfect location for the railway, and local access to Alresford and South Downs Way

Tired looking, needs a deep clean and lick of paint. We had to put all kitchen utensils, cookware and plates etc through the dishwasher on arrival, nothing had been cleaned properly. Kitchen bin was broken and all towels need replacing, we had a hole worn through on our bathmat.

The location and parking were perfect for us. The size of the house was great and my bed was very comfy. The shower had good pressure, the water was hot and the heating was easy to operate.

The shower cubicle had no door handle and the shower-head was black with mould. The towels, pillowcases and sheets were all slightly dirty as was the dining table and we had to wash the mugs, glasses and cutlery before we used them.

Comfy beds, good sized property, nice location by the steam trains

Kitchen was very poorly equipped, dishwasher was permanently on so had to leave door open or it ran, couldn’t get any channels on the TV

Maybe the parking when so many campers arrived for the weekend we were leaving but there was no extra noise

Accommodation was perfect for us and down stairs was spacious for 2 dogs. Plenty of natural light, lovely and warm. Beautiful views from every window. Very dog friendly. Kitchen had everything we needed. In an amazing location too., close to Winchester for Christmas markets and plenty of dog walks . Communication was great with the host.

The location was fabulous, just a moment away from the platform at Ropley (and the miniature railway!). The facilities in the accommodation were great - from the Utility Room to the kitchen! The rooms were an excellent size, perfect for a short or long break. We will be back!

A couple of minor issues with the shower and a sofa pillow, but very tiny issues - I've only mentioned them because this review asks for negatives too! Everything was fabulous - highly recommended!
