Lovely location.Easy to access. Easy check in/ out. Comfy beds. Nice touches on arrival.Free goodies and drink.

Some of the decor and furniture was looking a little tired. Some more crockery would have been good - we used saucers as side plates.Also some tongs and plastic jugs in the kitchen would have been useful.

Loved the old train station with trains on the side.

Location was great. right next to the heritage railway line , loved watching the steam trains. All mod coms,, small amount of tea, coffee etc provided for arrival plus a bottle of fizz and some biscuits. would come back again.

would have liked a mirror and clothes rail in the twin room. also prvious occupants left lots of cigarette buts all round the outside and even an empty packet on the bbq, did not inspire us to use it.

Lovely location and very comfortable and well equipped

Some kitchenware hadn’t been cleaned very well, there was old food under the plug in the kitchen

Comfortable beds,,good quality fittings in lodgings, spacious. Staff answered an e mail query I said helpfully and graciously

Some of my family felt the shower ran a little hot- I didnt have an issue

We loved the layout of the cottage

It was quite dirty. The kitchen counters were sticky, the house was dusty even the plates were dusty. Could have done with an additional pot, there was only one tiny pot and one super large pot. so had to cook my daughters dinners in rounds as there were not enough pots. We did tell them we had a baby, they provided a camp cot but not mattress or bedding (luckily my sister lives down the road and we were able to borrow from her) There was no high chair so we had to bring our buggy down from the car to feed her. There were old cigarette butts out on the patio area. It has the potential to be incredible with a little TLC and a good clean.
