Gorgeous location, nice and quiet, wonderfully built and such a pretty cabin/birdhide. I only took videos of the cabin which I can’t upload but the pictures are of the direct surroundings

Needed a little bit of a spring clean, quite a lot of cobwebs, however it is in the middle of the bush so that’s understandable. No reception, which turned out lovely but wish I brought a dvd player to watch a movie at night

Amazing cabin everything you need and more!

Nothing. We couldn’t find it.

It was extremely hard to find. There was a construction site/ junk yard where the maps lead me. There were tents and caravan everywhere. There’s no signs to tell you where to go and we ended up lost in the bush on a narrow dirt road. We had a hire car and were worried it was going to get damaged. No where on the listing did it say it was hard to find or get too. Tried calling the phone number listed but got no answer. There’s also no reception. Decided to turn around and find alternative accommodation. Didn’t even get a chance to see the place but from what I saw, it wouldn’t have been great.

The location was very nice around all the trees and having the Blackwood river only 20metres away from us was lovely to see from the porch.

I didn’t appreciate the lack of cleanliness on our bed as the netting above the bed had lots of dead insects on it and some had dropped through onto our bed which we noticed when we first checked in. We couldn’t enjoy much peace and quiet in the woods as I was hoping for as the people who were staying at the camping site just 100metres away were very noisy all afternoon and evening. So just a heads up if you are planning to stay here on a long weekend or during the school holidays, expect the same.

A great little hideaway from the world but still had all the modern comforts needed.

the location is beautiful, quiet and relaxing surrounded by tall trees and a river in front. An ample kitchenette with toaster, tea, coffee. a very thoughtful host.

The directions file sent by email did not open, so I struggled to find the property.

We only ended up staying one out of the three nights booked (we have requested a refund, but have received no response to date), due to issues including: 1. The front door would not close or lock, which was a serious safety issue, especially given the property's remote location with no internet access at all. This was noticed too late in the evening for us to leave the property due to driving in darkness on the tiny gravel road (only enough room for one car to fit through running for approximately 2kms) surrounded by large bushland and a lack of signage. 2. There was no mention in the listing of the very long, narrow gravel track leading to the property, which took 20 minutes to drive each way from the road to the property, making access to and from the property very difficult. This was particularly problematic for our small car. This should have been noted on the listing. 3. Key amenities such as the microwave (rust and paint missing inside), kettle, cups, BBQ and canopy netting were dirty and unusable upon arrival (images attached) with no cleaning items onsite. On top of this, there was a full mosquito net overhanging the four-post bed frame over the mattress, and dust/spider webs throughout the inside of the property. There was a serious cleanliness issue overall. We had brought dinner to cook but due to the state of the BBQ with no cleaning equipment provided and being unable to leave the property at night, we went without dinner. 4. Upon booking, there was no information provided by the owner regarding how to get there or into the property. We arrived on-site, where the property was unlocked with the key on a table inside. We only received a map of the property and instructions how to get there the day after our arrival - the day we fled. The drop toilet was the least of the worries at this property!!!

It was way beyond expectation will definitely be back

Would recommend one door have fly screen so airflow even in winter and a slight trim to the shrubs on track Other than that this place was crazy amazing 🤩
