If you're going for the hot springs, don't go; they're totally disappointing. The rest is worth it, but the hot springs are a rip-off.

USNot much. You should tell people that the resort is literally inside of the park. It's like if you were staying inside the of the queuing area for a rollercoaster at disneyland. There is no area of the resort which is private to guests. The pictures of the "facilities" are all the park itself, not the resort, which you share with park-goers. You are staying with all of the children and their families coming to the hotsprings for the day. The only restaurant is also inside the park, again with all of the families. It seems this place only exists for local tourists with children, because otherwise I can see no reason to visit. The rooms themselves are nice. But to charge this much money for facilities which day-trippers get for free is nuts.
This is a tourist trap – nothing about it is even remotely authentic or natural. We've traveled all over Borneo and this was the most touristy spot we ever visited. It's also expensive. Too expensive for almost no privacy. The only nature you see is hundreds of park-goers eagerly queuing to get into the hotsprings for the day. The pictures make it seem like your cabins are secluded in nature...they are not. You are so close to the queue to enter the park that you could great and welcome each of them to the park without leaving your balcony. Plus they make you pay a 50MYR conservation fee per person, even if you are just going to get breakfast and not doing the hotsprings or any activities...because again, everything is INSIDE of the park. To be fair the breakfast was solid.

SAMy stay at this hotel was excellent, despite booking this branch by mistake instead of the other one I intended. I’m glad I made this error because the experience turned out to be wonderful. The room, called the ‘River Lodge,’ was clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and cooperative. One of the standout features was the on-site restaurant within the park, which offered delicious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I highly recommend this hotel, especially for families planning to visit the park
