MYBy virtue of being in the hot springs, the ambience was superb. You get early access to the springs and the park.
The only restaurant there serving dinner was super expensive - prices are comparable to high end KL restaurants . A lot of insects at night. Don’t drive to the hotel when it gets dark - the road leading to it is dark and poorly-lit
MYThe location is ideal if you're planning to visit Poring Hot Springs, as it's located right next to it. However, aside from this, there aren't many facilities available—it's purely a place for relaxation.
Surrounded by forest, the area has many insects, even though the room windows are equipped with mesh screens. It's unclear where the insects are coming from.

MYUpkeep of the place is quite good. Can see that they put in effort to make an old building new and nice.
Sheets are not fresh, it’s dusty and there were dust mites. Walls are really thin, aircon is old and loud. It’s also humid in the room, smelled a little moldy

GBThe staff are just fantastic! Helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and professional, from the first greeting at reception by Angie and Pedro, to the very friendly team who serviced our room beautifully, to the wonderful breakfast staff … Wabster, Talia and Alice. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were always beautifully dressed and clean. Our first two nights we were sandwiched in between two noisy lodge occupants who slammed doors and spoke extremely loudly/ shouting to each other. On the last night, we were upgraded to a beautiful, large and quiet room. It was bliss. The staff decorated our bed as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and they made us feel so valued and special. We will definitely recommend Sutera Sanctuary Lodges at Poring Hot Springs and we cannot wait to return.
Sandwiched in between noisy rooms with noisy and disrespectful guests. To be honest, that’s our only complaint which isn’t the fault of the staff.
MYThe lodges are directly in the hot spring. Cannot be more close. The lodges are in an awesome location.
The restaurant is good, even excellent. But 2 remarks: - the restaurant is inside the hot spring. For diner no problem. For breakfast we were asked to pay first the access to the hot spring while we were coming from the lodges. That is not logic. - there are not so many choice for the breakfast... and the nasi lemak is with very small quantity, the bubur bigger... nice but i was still hungry with the nasi lemak. Or else our stay was very nice... :-)
