Mary Villa

The villa accommodates ten people comfortably with a bathroom for each bedroom. Great for groups to be together in a large, comfortable, open plan kitchen, dining and living area. The kitchen is extremely well equipped for cooking for a large group. Quiet location but close to everything and shops and lookouts all within walking distance.

There was a leak in one bedroom which I’m sure will be attended to as the owners do look after the property. More coffee mugs and wine glasses would be great.

I enjoyed the ease of check-in, and the hosts were very gracious to give us an earlier check in time. Facilities were all clean and has a decent value for money.

The location of the property, walking distance to Katoomba shops and Echo Point, is great. House has plenty of room and is a good place for a large group. Each room has a bathroom and some have a spa.

We could not get the central heating to work and relied on one air conditioner during a particularly cold evening (also no wood is supplied for the combustion heater during summer - February). The $1000 bond, taken shortly after booking was excessive and unexpected (although it is mentioned in the booking conditions) and beware it also takes at least one week after staying to get the bond back. The Property Managers send an awful lot of e-mails concerning the booking.

2 showers didn’t work no hot water in one and no cold in the other 2 light globes out I emailed to ask for the wifi password after several emails I finally said “I am old and stupid and must have deleted it” The quick response was the password

Great property for a group, especially with each room having an en-suite and an open plan living/dining/kitchen area.

Communication from Accommodated was not timely.
