"The lodge was a good size with a great hot tub and Samsung smart TV, situated near a great Chinese restaurant in the ple"

The hot tub was great and also the lodge was a really good size. There was a great Chinese restaurant nearby and Malton is a nice little town. Also loved the tv - it was a Samsung smart tv with all of the apps.

There was a foisty smell in the bedroom and also I had problems with the wifi and they just gave us a number to call and when we got through they wouldn’t speak to us because we weren’t the account holders. There was no staff as it was self check in so I tried contacting the mobile number of the lodge owners and got no reply. Luckily I worked it out for myself.

"Comfy but let down by lack of support"

Location great although you do need a car, breakfast disappointing as no gas to cook on the morning of our departure.

No contact after 8pm for issues until the next morning, our Gas ran out at 9.20am so unable to have a shower after using the Hot Tub. That night we also had a Frost so not the best timing to not have a good supply of Gas. Ideally the site needs to have 24 hour callout support for such things as no Gas etc. This was our last night and the next morning a member of staff did turn up to have a look but we were all in the car by then at checkout time and heading home. A little disappointing so score is reflected in value for money and comfort.

"Nice for short breaks."

Comfortable

WiFi didn’t work and despite two calls to get sorted, it remained not working. Was also difficult to find in the dark and our confirmation detailed the wrong lodge so we couldn’t get in immediately as didn’t have key code. When rang the number off here it went to answerphone! But if a stressful start. There was a pot of cigarette butts left on the Vera see too.

I loved the location. Private and quiet. Perfect for nights in. Hot tub was ace.

I had to wash a few kitchen items before using. Turning the hot tub bubbles off is a little temperamental but ace nevertheless.

Was an amazing stay in the lodge and the hot tub was excellent, few little things were missed when cleaning but apart from that I would definitely book again
