ININThe rooms were adequately spacious. Towels were provided. There was a table and two chairs in each room. Hot water was available.
The fan in one of the rooms could only operate at the highest speed, the regulator was faulty. The property's location is difficulty to reach and the path is slightly dangerous to traverse. One has to drive down a mountain's zigzag narrow road and the property is right at the end of it. The bathrooms were not very clean, there were stains on the commode and basin. There were also small cockroaches. A very small bar of soap was provided for 2 people. No toothpaste was provided. There was no TV or AC. No water was provided. There were no regular housekeeping services. The room stayed a mess till we left.
INThe exceptional view and surroundings. Extremely attentive caretaker and his wife, who cooked according to my instructions with less oil and masala. The room was very spacious..toilet squeaky clean.. sheets and linen basic but quite okay for me, though those looking for luxury or an extensive food menu may not be satisfied. As opposed to many reviews I read, the solar heaters work perfectly and I got hot water even in the middle of the night. The price point is also very good.. you don't get this kind of a room with a view at this cost.
Not much that I did not like.. I do have a few suggestions that will make the place better.. like adding some greenery/potted plants and cane lamps in dining area and rooms that will increase the charm of the place. Also strawberries in season (from fields not more than a kilometre from the property) and other fruits can be on the menu. Perhaps a kettle in the room if anyone likes to have a cup of green tea.
INININLocation of the property is great. Food is not readily available. like if just 2 people are staying then you will have to order both veg thali or both non veg thali. We luckily ordered from Zomato. location is very interior. so if you dont have your own vehicle then you will have to hire a taxi to reach main road. the view from the property is good.
the paints and photos dont match the actual room. the room walls are leaving paint and doesnt have the aesthetics as shown in the photos.
