Villa Rumah Lumbung

Villa was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay here. Beds are very comfy, and breakfast was amazing.

The villa is beautiful, very peaceful if you would like to chill away from the hustle and bustle of ubud. We would recommend renting out a bike to get back and fourth from the centre. The staff were super helpful and supported us with arranging transport and other trips. We would recommend the floating breakfast at the villa it was really nice, lots of fresh fruit and eggs. If you do not rent a bike it is a little bit far to walk with a suitcase and rucksack but when checking out we were given a lift on the moped by the staff.

There was a smell of cigarette smoke in the room, we figured it could have been someone who had stayed before and it was in the AC vent. The bathroom is a little bit basic with no frills, but it does the job.

The pool area is lovely, staff organized a floating breakfast. Remote area very quiet, a few restaurants walking distance.

Doors were a bit hard to lock and unlock, cannot get there by car, car park area is a 10 min walk away but staff picked us and our luggage up on mopeds.

I like the fact that breakfast is cooked fresh by the 2 caretakers who took the time to familiarise us with the property. The swimming pool waters were clean. There is auto night light, there is Netflix on top of IndiHome, there is the provision of some coffee powder and tea bags and sugar for our consumption when we feel like it. There was a day bed in each of the 2 bedrooms such that it could accommodate the 6 of us. The breakfast provided was lovely; you have a choice of pancake, fried noodles or toast and every breakfast set comes with fruits. it was also nice for the owner to allow for me to pay via Wise transfer rather than cash. She wanted to charge us 2% for using credit card payment but this, If I am not wrong, is illegal and wrong to pass on the credit card charges to the consumer. If she does not allow for credit card, then she should just state so, or state that the 2% charge will be passed on to the consumer on booking dot com.

if you did not or do not rent a scooter, you have to walk 600m to the house from the main road. The owner and the platform (booking dot com) accepted my booking for six people but the owner insisted that the property only caters for five breakfast sets and five towels, even despite my insistence, the owner did not budge! how expensive in local terms is it to provide for one more set of towel and one extra set of breakfast? Why allow a group size of 6 to book if the maximum provision is for 5?

Beautiful, tranquil hide away in spacious villa, fabulous design, with private, clean swimming pool, staff comes in to cook your breakfast.

The odd big cockroach and it’s a long walk in (not accessible by car) but of course that makes it so quiet and peaceful.

Only had fruit which was fresh and tasty
