The villa is located around the lake and everywhere in the villa are flies. There were totally annoying. The location is a little bit disappointed because there were no restaurants around

Difficult find and 1 of the room water heater got issue.

Spacious villa with a nice view. Restaurant provides not many options, but delicious and reasonably priced. Staff was respectful and helpful. Evenings were a bit chill, yet warm inside the villa.

Lot's of flies, so it so hard to enjoy a meal outside the villa. But we were warned what bugs are inevitable as this is agricultural area. The road to the villa is very narrow and rough, can be hard to get out on a scooter.

Beautiful view and really tranquil place, lovely as a getaway and if you want to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city. The rooms are simple but clean, and the staff are friendly and accommodating.

The entry into the property is a winding and steep mud path, where bigger vehicles might get stuck. Consider taking up the property's offer to meet you at the main road instead, as our minibus got stuck on the way out. The other minor thing that bothered us were the large amount of flies.

The hotel is very beautiful and comfortable, quite small and with a beautiful pool. The staff is super friendly and we loved that we could book the night hike to Mt Batur with them (super efficient, good price and wonderful experience!). Loved the breakfast delivered to the room and the flexibility of the staff. We ate both nights in the hotel restaurant and were super happy with the quality (as well as the price level). Small surprises such as the free pool towels were really dding to the experience for us. Special thanks to Yasa (/Malex) in the staff who helped us a lot with our queries.

Well, we knew it ahead and the staff apologized upon arrival but yes, this is an agricultural area so there will be some insects and flies around. this is of course not the hotel's fault and will be present anywhere in the area. However, it didn't impact us that much but travelers should be aware. The villas are a bit off the main road so a little bit tricky to get there (esp. if you have your own vehicle), however the hotel staff offers pickup from the main road and the bonus of it all is the beautiful view over the lake.
