Kalidasa Tree House and Villa,Wayanad

> We just returned from Kalidasa’s Homestay in Wayanad, and it honestly felt like stepping into another world—a true home away from home. There are no fancy frills or artificial luxuries here, just pure, unadulterated bliss wrapped in the embrace of mother nature. > Our days were defined by the simplest, most beautiful rhythms: waking up to a symphony of birds chirping, looking out at endless, lush green views, and breathing in the crisp air of the coffee estates stretching out in the background. With the gentle murmur of the Kabini River flowing just a kilometer away, the entire setting felt incredibly serene. > Every meal was a highlight—tastefully cooked home food that felt like it was prepared with genuine love and care. But the absolute icing on the cake was our stay in the treehouse, perched right up in the canopy. It was an unforgettable experience, made all the more special by our wonderful hosts, Sudeesh and his wife Jyoti Sudeesh, whose warmth and hospitality made us feel like family.

I recently had the most amazing stay near Kuruva Island, and it truly felt like a hidden paradise deep inside the forest. The tree house experience was absolutely magical—surrounded by dense greenery, vibrant flowers, and a wide variety of birds, it felt like living right in the heart of nature. Waking up to the sounds of chirping birds and being amidst such lush surroundings was incredibly refreshing and peaceful. The place is beautifully maintained, with fruits, flowers, and towering trees all around, making it a perfect escape from the hustle of city life. What made the experience even more special was the warmth and hospitality of Sudheesh and his family. They go above and beyond to ensure guests are comfortable, treating everyone not just as visitors but as part of their own family. Their care, kindness, and attention to detail truly stand out and make the stay unforgettable. This is definitely a must-visit place, and I would love to come back again!

L'accueil de cette famille très sympathique qui met toute son energie pour vous faire sentir bien et vous régaler d'excellents mets. Organisation d'excursions. Une adresse indienne authentique avec la tree house et la villa qui se regardent au milieu de plantations de café.

Relaxing, clean, lots of birds

The property is very well maintained and clean with great views. The hospitality was really good. We were served with the organic food which was grown in their farm. I strongly recommend this place.

Beautiful location surrounded by nature. Just the sound of birds most of the time. Sudeesh and Jyothi did everything they could to be helpful and make the stay enjoyable. I had the place to myself so was very peaceful. Great walks with Sudeesh and cold milkshake waiting when we got back. Plenty of homecooked organic Keralan food. Treehouse is perfect for relaxing and bird watching. I would say the Island is only worth visiting if there are not many people there otherwise it will be very noisy.

Zwischen Kaffee und anderen Pflanzen liegen die beiden "Ferienhäuschen" Villa und das Baumhaus mit Blick in ein kleines Tal und viel Grün. Ich wohnte im Baumhaus - einfach wunderschön! Sogar mit Bad. Alles sehr sauber und gemütlich! Es führt eine normale Treppe hinauf, oben sitzt man entspannt auf der eigenen Veranda und kann Vögel spotten. Die Familie kümmerte sich herzlich um mich, vom köstlichen Frühstück & Abendessen bis zur Organisation von Ausflügen und Wanderungen. Ganz lieben Dank dafür! Sollte ich wieder einmal nach Wayanad kommen - hier würde ich sofort wieder wohnen wollen!
