Villa Dewi

Location was good if it wasn’t raining as the small street that you had to walk down flooded and we had to walk through 6 inches of water down the road in the dark. Also there were street wires hanging down which my husband walked into making his glasses fall off his face , luckily he didn’t rip his face open. The cleaning team were very nice and would txt every morning to say what time they were coming. One morning we had a baby snake in the kitchen scarring me and I txt the team and they arrived very promptly and removed it. The pool man came few times and did a good job cleaning up the small garden.

The beds were rock hard but did have nice linen. The bathroom towels were very old. No tea towels provided , no tea spoons. I looked the saucepans and no way would I cook anything in them. Due to the amount of rain we had the kitchen flooded and water was running down the walls all over the sink bench ruining the boxes of biscuits and food etc. The same flooding also happened in the bathroom and all of our toiletries and medication were floating in water on the bathroom bench in the morning The bathroom tiles needs a good scrub and the toilet is broken and very wobbly. The ceiling is mouldy over the shower. Ceiling fan in lounge area doesn’t work, free standing fan provided. The outdoor furniture is very old and and wouldn’t recommend anyone to attempt to sit on it. The privacy wall is half missing when you go upstairs so you can see straight into another villa. Don’t walk on the upstairs balcony, it’s not safe. The walls around the pool need a good paint The place needs a lot of maintenance and a good paint job , which in Bali is ongoing I know. The walls around the pool don’t look like anything in the pictures.

Close to shops and restaurants. Staff were lovely and quick to resolve a leaking aircon unit.

Pretty sure there is a brothel next door if the noises at all times of the day and night were anything to go but. Drivers, delivery services etc could not locate property via address supplied. Pool was leaking and always too low. Beds are like bricks- firm would be an understatement. The upstairs and down stairs rooms are not connected internally- this was not clear in the booking. This was not ideal as we were travelling with a child. Advertised pictures do not replicate the current state of the villa. Bar stools were broken. Bath was black so unusable. In the downstairs room all of the feature wall tiles are falling off. Shower was not clean. Toilets stained black inside. All villa walls externally were mouldy- unlike in the images.

The place was beautiful and clean and very clean

Absolutely nothing to complain about.

Have stayed next door. The villa is in a brilliant location. Easy access to everything. Hence why we returned. The staff are lovely. Polite and friendly.

The villa is very very very tired. The owners have neglected to keep it up to standard. It requires a serious refurbishment.

The managing staff were exceptional, friendly, It was close to restaurants

Pool needed filling every day. And needs some TLC. The stairs to the upstairs room were on the outside of the building and did not have a railing to hold onto. The beds are very big but felt like sleeping on a plank of wood. Not enough pillows. The upstairs bedroom TV had no extra connections such as prime as the lower bedroom did. The roof leaked when it rained down the kitchen wall and pooling on the bench. One of the gutters right at the entrance of the open living room overflowed. There were no mosquito nets over beds as pictured. There are wall cavity openings in which the mosquito's came in all night. Upstairs shower bath was not connected to the wall, making it hard to even have a shower in that bathroom. The address is not found when using the transport as villa dewi.

the Facility was really good & close to all shops & restaurants the pool was always clean & kept us cool after long Days out. this place is real value for Money & i will stay again on my next visit. the Hosts were always there to help if things went wrong.

probably need to upgrade TV & Have ceiling fan fixed. water pressure could be better, (But we survived)

Cleaned daily, great location

Hot water lacks pressure, not a massive problem just have to be patient

location was good and staff tried to accommodate the issues we had

very old photos used could do with some upkeep . no neating over the beds toilets look old and hot water took 10 mins to heat up and very low pressure beds not very comfortable
