La Fortuna

We were greeted on arrival and shown around the property which was good. The property is in an excellent location close to the key dining outlets and bars within Seminyak which made our stay great.

The property is tired and requires some TLC to bring it back up to standard, the AC in the master room wasn't strong enough to chill the bedroom as the afternoon sun shines directly onto the glass so we didn't sleep under any covers through our stay. The bathroom glass door rattles due to the rumbling of the AC unit so we had to jam the door with a towel and as the AC ran almost 24hr there was continual water leaking from the unit. The living area which is outdoors is comfortable and the TV / Sound System works very well. The pool was ok however there are many loose tiles within the pool which is a concern and we found that the pool system wasn't running through the day to move the water around.

We booked under the impression that there will be 3 beds as stated in the booking listing. When we arrive, there were only 2 mattress. When questioned, the host then swiftly set up a make shift bed with broken leg hence my bed for 3 nights was rocking every time I move.

So close to everything you need! Coffee shop next door. Just a walk down alleyway to heaps of bars and restaurants. And can walk to beach as well!

Meant to be suitable for 6 people, it’s not! One of the “double beds” was a fold out single bed that was so uncomfortable we had to add the couch cushions for my son to sleep. My other son slept on cushions on the floor!! This place is best for two couples not families. 1 of the toilets wouldn’t flush either. Not great with 6 people.

Great pool and outdoor area, cold and hot water readily available, big TV, very private.

Air conditioner could have been colder and more powerful, the bed was broken underneath which caused very loud noises from the slightest movement.

Amazing villa. I really enjoyed my stay, the host was super nice, would definitely come back.
