Thornbeck Manor Lake Windermere

The property is so quaint and cute. We girls loved the location . So close to Bowness as well as Windermere. Everything was so well thought in the property. We loved the cute welcome note . All in all great experience and highly recommended.

Alison is one of the most thoughtful hosts. When we checked in to our delight we found the house to be stacked with essentials. She was also extremely approachable and helpful with suggestions on best restaurants and other queries. Alison it’s hosts like you who reinstate our faith in making vacations worthwhile not by staying at hotels but homes like that of yours.

There is nothing to not like about the property it’s a 20 on 10 on every parameter.

Very clean and tourist friendly environment

Location is excellent - walking distance to Windermere and Bowness. The property was immaculately clean and finished to a high standard quality. The hosts were quick to respond and reach out to ensure we had everything needed. The facilities provided for the two young children were so helpful. All the small touches made our stay so delightful. Enjoyed reading on the balcony with the views.

We loved all of it - maybe some garden TLC bits would have been enjoyed if the weather was sunny

Bed size and room size were to small.

The house is exceptional. The building is brand new. Not only that, but I was surprised to find lots of amenities and breakfast needs. Alison, the house owner, was easily reachable to answer all my travel inquiries.
