The cabin I stayed in was absolutely beautiful. It was tucked in the woods and felt very private. The surroundings are gorgeous and relaxing. You can walk to a few local restaurants, but they close at 6 PM. If you wanna go into town for dinner later, make sure to plan accordingly as it may be impossible to get a taxi and fairly far to walk into town fairly. I felt very safe as a single female traveler, staying here and walking around on my own. 

This place is like an Airbnb, so there is no front desk. That is what I liked about it, but there was nobody available to really help schedule any tours or call a taxi, etc. They do provide you with some links to tour organizations and taxis, etc. You would want to organize that on your own or possibly stop by another hotel and see if they have someone that can help you.

Great location and room with excellent view. Comfortable bed, clean and efficient bathroom. near all the locations we visited. Great host. Convenient parking. Quiet.

Quiet location tucked away in Monteverde with beautiful rooms, garden and shared separate building in the garden with a kitchen, dining and lounge area. We also loved seeing the animals and birds that came into the garden - so special!

If booking through Booking.com, we were contacted by the property to request payment in cash on arrival, with an option for a PayPal payment attracting additional fee of @5%.

Your own private park - villas in the trees living in wildlife. Private terrace with a fire pit , and dry wood provided

The property was great - maybe only the hot water system was a bit tricky for the shower but not a big issue

We stayed in the picture perfect wooden lodge ( 3 beds 3 bathrooms) . Interior was gorgeously rustic . Beds and linen very comfortable. Excellent kitchen provision. Verdent and tranquil gardens. Great location near Monteverde Cloud Reserve and next to Children’s Eternal rainforest. Stella’s across the road for delightful breakfast.

Slight road noise but to be expected due to position.

Room and bathroom spacious, safety deposit box available, good shower pressure with hot water, really clean, fairly close to main attractions (I walked to Santa Elena) and on a main road / bus route. Next door to a couple of cafes / whole foods market.

I was cold - I stayed December 2024 and there was quite a lot of rain (not unexpected given the area and time of year) but there was no chance of drying my clothes / shoes off and I was cold once the effect of a hot shower had worn off. Despite having read mosquitos weren’t a problem here I did have bugs in my room and I did get bitten during the night (prob not by mosquitos and as a general rule I don’t suffer with being bitten when travelling) so nets may help as others have observed. The path to the room is also across the garden which when wet / muddy was less than ideal - it may be that the hosts decide to pave this in the future as the room felt fairly new. It was quite tricky on arrival - I couldn’t locate anyone and it was dark with no clear signage / instructions. I ended up finding another guest in the shared space to help me. It was all then a bit rushed as everything nearby closes at 6pm and I had no food etc. Something to bear in mind if arriving after 6pm. It’s also pretty noisy at night when stormy outside so bring earplugs. The bed was large and comfortable, bedding and towels clean however the actual duvet had an unpleasant odour (the duvet was not fully encased) which made me feel less happy. These are all small details though and overall the stay was pleasant and the place clean

The location is very convenient and has a lot of charmed. The room is spacious and facilities are good. The room is very clean and tidy. The bed is enormous.

It lacks heating so clothes take longer to dry.

We arrived in a very beautiful space, to our surprise we were the only one staying here. They have a shared kitchen in a cute glass house and there were a lot of animals who visited us in the garden. A lot of birds, and even monkeys. We had a really great stay.
