Very nice place, away from the main road, close to some surf spots

Absolute gem in the south of Sri Lanka! 2 min walk from the ocean, right at the beautiful Coconut Beach! The staff is always friendly, attentive, and happy to help with recommendations or requests. The guest house is clean, comfortable, and offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere perfect for unwinding. Whether you’re staying for a night or a longer visit, it is excellent value for money. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Sri Lanka — I would absolutely return! Bonus: refined yoga place and massage spots are right next door.

Den geräumigen kleinen Bungalow mit eigener Terrasse im Dschungelgarten wenige (!) Schritte vom Meer entfernt ist was wir hier gebucht haben. Erhalten haben wir zusätzlich eine unvergessliche Zeit bei Gastgebern, die uns mit viel Herz empfangen haben und sich perfekt um uns kümmern. Bonuspunkte gibt es für die geniale lokal-internationale Fusion-Küche im hauseigenen Restaurant und die vielen heimischen Tiere im Garten!

De locatie en het personeel zijn super. Er hangt een hele fijne sfeer in het hotel. Je kunt er ook prima eten. Vlakbij het strand en op 3 km van de drukte van Weligama. Ook dichtbij met Mirissa.

De kamer die wij hadden (nummer 3) was behoorlijk basic, niet zo mooi als op de foto’s.

What an amazing family run guest house Me and my large family had the nicest Christmas stay and all can’t rate it enough . We were all made to feel so very welcome and the staff couldn’t do enough for us and location was fantastic. Hope to see them all again in the future ❤️❤️

Air conditioning in all the rooms would help

The property was clean and had a good mosquito net to cover the bed.

This place does NOT look like the photos. The “Deluxe” room was extremely basic: no AC (it was installed but the remote had been removed), a very small balcony with no view, no toiletries, no hairdryer, and a door lock that didn’t work properly and could easily be forced open. It might be acceptable as a budget guesthouse, but the pictures are very misleading, and we would have appreciated a more realistic representation so we knew what to expect. We also found the tuk-tuk situation to be awful, with drivers heavily overcharging. We ended up shortening our 7-night stay to just one night and moved to another location where we feel much safer and more comfortable (and we rented a bike so we don’t have to give money to the tuk-tuk “mafia”).
