Clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful. Jimmy who picked us up when we got dropped off by the taxi on the Chalet instead of the apartments quickly picked us up. He also orientated us to the room, and made sure we were picked up for our dinner reservations. They arrange our car hire, dinner reservations, we could also ask them to do groceries if need be.. they made sure our stay was as smooth as can be! thank you Big Bear Chalet! definitely stay here again!

"Lovely self contained lodge on outskirts of Hakuba close to ski fields"

Roomy apartment and bathroom. Helpful staff. Close to walk to chairlift and ski field. Some great restaurants nearby. Lovely forested area.

Little away from main part of Hakuba, bus and train station.

the studio was a great size for two people. location was good with plenty of bars & restaurants around us. chair lift a 30 second walk from the apartments.

our room was next to the stairs so it was a little loud with people going up and down but apart from that nothing.

It was ok, nothing more.

The check-in process was unclear. Wrong address for the apartment I booked. The stove had problems and didn't always work.
