Lanka Beach Grand Villa

Everything was amazing. Great hospitality and care. Perfect location and clean property.

One aircon in downstairs room was not working well.

we stayed here already before some years ago. The villa is in mint condition, very clean and the staff is really helpful. The location is right on the almost empty beach, so you can have a Robinson feeling... We went swimming in the ocean right in front of the property - no problem. The Germany owners run a restaurant right next to the villa -also on the beach - with very jummy food. The restaurant is called "Blue Dolphin" - do not miss to eat there. Sure we will return in one or two years time ......

That was the best place we stayed in whole Sri Lanka, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, great location, right on the beach. We had nice swims in the sea, but the pool is also great. Staff very helpful and unobtrusive. Could book all trips and scooters at reasonable prices...We will book again for next December ! A clear recommendation. Unbelievable Value for Money !!

Amazing retreat ! Very relaxing atmosphere, beautiful deserted beach, loved swimming in the sea but there is also a nice swimming pool.... The views and the serenity are just excellent. Everything very clean and in perfect condition. We used their restaurant next door (Blue Dolphin Restaurant) , tasty food - try the sea food platter ! Nice and very freindly staff. Cannot recommend staying at this villa enough !! Everything was just great !

Everything was great, a spacious and well maintained villa on a private tropical garden directly on the beach ...Excellent food from their restaurant next door. You had the beach almost for your own only..Very friendly staff. A real gem...German ownership - you see that everywhere... Would love to come back and stay for longer...

We loved our stay here! The villa was wonderful, clean, spacious, lovely pool and we enjoyed the delicious meals which were served on our private terrace and were prepared by a chef both trained in Sri Lankan and European dishes. The staff was very friendly, unobtrusive and the house was a great place to rest. German owners - very easy to work with. We also saw baby turtles on the beach and this made this place even more special. Swimming in the sea was no problem. Thank you for the wonderful stay! We will come back one day for sure.

Lovely villa in a beautiful location on a wide beach with incredibly kind staff and excellent local Sri Lankan and Western cuisine! Our stay was just incredible - we should have stayed much longer ! next time we will spend our whole vacation here - so relexing. Everything in a good condition, great food and lots of wildlife ! Unbeatable !!

The location was amazing, was right on the beach and the swimming pool was in front of the property, great place for the romantic week away with your partner. The place was also very clean

The furnature and property is a little dated, although clean needs a refresh. There is no usable internet in the property although I did ask the staff they just said this is how it is. No fans or air conditioning in the main living area which made it very unusable. Things to watch out for, electricity, you will need to pay for this and they seem to not talk you though the meter reading when you get there and then there is a shock when you come to leave. It seems that you are also paying for the electricity for the people living under the house. There is also a mark up that they charge $0.30 when the cost is $0.18. We did debate this with the team at the property but it was a that is what it is attitude. Also you will be charged for breakfast at $7 each a day, no price to signify this on the menu (It has been blotted out with a pen)

Beautiful villa, beautiful beach, very hospitable and friendly service. The villa is just as pictured. The restaurant is close by and it was nice having the food brought over to the villa. Much more convenient with small kids. Everyone was kind and helpful.

The furniture in the living room is outdated and uncomfortable, but outdoor furniture is just fine. No fan inside in the living room so difficult to enjoy with the heat and the flies. Mostly had to be outside near the fans, or in rooms with the AC (which you pay for- FYI).
