Villa Habarana

Little oasis inmiddle of the jungle. Calm and relaxed atmosphere, extremely kind and helpful staff. Relaxing in and around the pool after a hot day of visiting Dambulla or Sigiriya felt like paradise. Our villa was in excellent condition and we all slept very well in the cosy beds. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness!

Top verblijf! Wij verbleven er 3 nachten. Dilani en haar man zijn super hosts. Leuk, ruim huisje met terras in een rustige, groene omgeving. Goede bedden. Zeer mooie badkamer met een fantastische douche. Goede WIFI. Het ontbijt en diner zijn zeer lekker, uitgebreid en gevarieerd. Dilani hielp ons goed met het regelen van de uitstappen. De tuk tuk chauffeur Sarath, aangebracht door Dilani, was een zeer vriendelijke man die ons overal naartoe bracht. Dit verblijf raden wij ten zeerste aan!

Die geräumigste, neueste und schönste Unterkunft die wir in Sri Lanka hatten! Dilani hat alles mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Ebenso hatten wir bei ihr das beste Rice & Curry unserer Reise und ein fantastisches Frühstück! Sie hat für uns eine Safari im Huluru Eco Park organisiert, der um einiges günstiger war als der bekanntere Minneriya NP aber nicht weniger Elefanten bietet. Der Pool vom Hotel gegenüber kann mitgenutzt werden (bis der eigene fertiggestellt ist). Ein ganz toller Ort zum Entspannen im Schatten des Jungels ;)

Just amazing, wonderful couple managing the property, rooms are even better looking than on the pictures, wonderful bathroom with jungle sound as shower is open. Everything very new and well maintained. Easy to walk from and explore around. One evening we had dinner in the Jungle shades restaurant and the food was just amazing (10 different meals/curries cooked over 3 hours and that just for us). Thank you so much for this wonderful stay! We would come back any time!!

We stayed for four nights and loved this place. The villa is quite new and it looks like the pictures. It is spacious with two large double beds with mosquito nets and the bathroom is large and has an outdoor shower. There is also a nice veranda. It is walking distance to the small city center, but the host can provide transportation if you prefer tuk tuk instead. They can also arrange tours if you wish. The host is very nice and does everything to make you feel comfortable. Can definitely recommend this place to others.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in der kleinen Villa und haben sogar verlängert, weil es uns so gut gefallen hat. Das Frühstück und Abendessen waren großartig und das Häuschen mit der Außendusche ist wirklich außergewöhnlich und von Grün umgeben. Dilani kümmerte sich rührend um uns und organisierte viele Dinge (Fahrer, Safari, Massage, Restaurantempfehlungen). Der Pool, den wir mitbenutzen durften, war ca 20m entfernt und richtig schön. Die Lage der Villa ist perfekt, um zu verschiedenen Ausflügen aufzubrechen. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!!

Loved everything about our stay at jungle shades villa. The host Dulan was so kind and attentive. She prepared amazing meals and a delicious breakfast every morning. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring several sites in Sri Lanka. There were monkeys there in the trees to welcome us when we arrived, and the days we spent exploring the area were truly incredible. The host family bent over backwards to make our stay pleasant, and I would highly recommend this place for anybody searching for accommodations around Habarana.

There is absolutely nothing to complain about. The jungle is so thick around the rooms that if a little clearing could allow some sunshine to come through the canopy, it might brighten it up a little but I also understand if they would prefer to keep it as natural as possible.

We had a wonderful stay! Despite our very early arrival, the host was incredibly kind and welcoming — he even prepared an extra breakfast and had our room ready for us. The place has a cozy, local atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. Our host was always attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the open-air jungle-view bathroom was like something out of a dream — such a unique and peaceful experience. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic and relaxing stay in Sri Lanka. We would definitely come back!
