Villa Kipas

Breakfast was good with the chef providing a great Indonesian meal or eggs anyway requested. One breakfast was interrupted by a huge storm that made roads impassable. There was immediate communication from villa management that there was a problem but then no updates. Not their fault I guess as traffic was impossible from Kuta to Seminyak for the complete day. Location was excellent - near beach and accessible to cafes, bars, restaurants. Staff provided very good service.

Downstairs area was well laid out and there was plenty of room for four people with furnishings to match. Big swimming pool, chairs, table outside worked well. Upstairs was a different story! The two bedrooms were rather run down and the bathroom ensuites need renovating as very tired with some mould evident. The balcony had a floor of small rocks (not pebbles) that were uneven and difficult to walk on. The provision of just one couch for two people and no other furniture on the balcony I thought was strange. An opportunity missed to make guests more comfortable. Traffic outside was sometimes a bit noisy especially the motorbikes at night.

Great service from breakfast to cleaning and laundry. Well done the pool was excellent and clean and the fish ponds added an extra level of peace

Le bruit infernal des scooters et des voitures qui klaxonnent au coin de la rue. Le bruit est incessant, nuit et jour. Les matelas devraient peut être être changés

Het ontbijt was heerlijk. Elke ochtend vers gemaakt. Heel mooie ruime villa. Dicht bij het strand, restaurants en winkeltjes.

Gede was amazing and made the most awesome breakfasts for us with fresh juice and delicious balinese coffee. Was happy to help us with any queries or needs we had, he went above and beyond. Sri was amazing as well, greeting us with a delicious juice she does. Gave us the most AMAZING massages and spa treatments while we were there. We were all sad to leave them both. The villa itself was lovely, well maintained and clean. Pool was lovely and the fish in the pond were a highlight for us. I read reviews that the street can be noisy, we found this to be true if we were home during the day but you honestly can not hear it inside the villa or bedrooms and after the first day you get used to it if sitting outside for a bit. Definately did not affect our stay at all. Location is perfect - walk to beach and many many restaurants and eateries, bars and things to do.

The bedrooms upstairs had musty smell that didn't ease in the 10 days while we were there, but we arrived after rain which could be why.

The property was spotlessly clean, close to the beach and many great restaurants. Gede was great at cooking our breakfast everyday and attending to our every need.

I don’t think there was anything negative report. As a family we really enjoyed our stay.
