Romantic secluded Shepherd Hut Hares Rest

It was Perfect! We had everything we needed and the location was perfect. It was very warm and if we got cold there were plenty of extra blankets and a fire! So beautifully presented, so cozy and so lovely.

Nothing it had everything!

The Hut was lovely, well furnished and felt spacious. The breakfast hamper was a nice treat with fresh local produce.

Was a lovely stay and accomodation was in great condition.

Lovely secluded spot. Very clean and tidy. Nice touches with basket of food. Great homemade cake, bread and eggs.

Bed uncomfortable and mattress possibly needs replacing. Maybe another chair for comfort is required.

The shepherd hut experience. The food hamper was a lovely touch, and the lady who met us on arrival was very friendly.

I found the bed was too soft. But that's because I like a firm bed.

Lovely, quiet spot, great for a base if wanting to go to Bath for the day. Was lovely to meet Ruth, the host on arrival and the hamper left was delightful. Eggs, homemade jam, homemade orange and almond loaf (delicious), milk, orange juice and shortbread. Highlight being toasting the marshmallows watching the sunset go down.

Quirky, remote.

The pathway to the hut isn’t the easiest to navigate and is very uneven. The seating area has become overgrown / untidy so you battle long grass when you sit outside.

The Shepherds hut was very comfortable, set in a peaceful orchard location and was very thoughtfully stocked with a welcome pack that included essential food and there were also ample materials to get the fire pit going. I had a very comfy and relaxing stay.

I genuinely liked, if not loved everything about the place.
