Lovely family and beyond helpful in everything. The evening meal is great - note there is no where else close to go too. The large space for all guests is a great meeting place. I would recommend staying here and with their planned improvements coming - coffee machine, more food etc will be even better. I wish them great success

Sandy edge is nicely located near the beaches in Kalpitya. The host is friendly, the food is good and the bungalows are clean.

The dinner costs 2000 LKR per Person, which is very expensive compared to the price to stay there… and even if its delicious it seems overpriced. The rooms are super small. You can‘t really store your belongings anywhere than on the ground.

Very nice huts. When I was there it was raining a lot, so spent a bit more time at the room than intended :) But all was nice and cosy.

Great setting, beautiful spot! The host is so wonderful and good food too!

Not as close to the beach as implied. Wifi wasn’t working when I stayed, a bummer but that happens. Not their fault.

very basic: The room is super tiny and does not fit two normal-sized suitcases when opened. There's no closet either.

Owner and staff was very kind end helpful. Houses were fresh and clean, beds with mosquito nets. It was nice and comfortable to stay there. 5/5 breakfast was very tasty and there was gluten free option for me:) highly recommend this place

The main road to the hotel was a bit of a downside, as it was uneven, bumpy, and had several broken patches. The ride in was quite rough. A smoother, well-maintained road would definitely enhance the overall experience and make arrivals much more comfortable.
