Great location, owner Darren is a great guy. First shower head in Asia that was good for my height.

Darren is a helpful host and gives you directions for everything. We liked the garden and the sunsets.

For breakfast or dinner you need to go somewhere, but his was known. Neighbours tend to play loud music all day long, which spoils the atmosphere. There could be more nice seatings in the garden. I was a bit disappointed of the Island itself since it has a real plastic problem.

1.) AMAZING Host: - Darren lives in Don Det since 20 years and knows a lot of people. He can arrange evrything (tours, busses, tickets, transfers, bikes, laundry...) For good prices ;-) The private Sunset-Tour for example was a highlight of our journey ! - very friendly and helpful - knos a lot of funny and interesting anecdotes about region, country and people - perfect English (Australian) 2.) Cleanliness, size and furniture of the bungalow. Build with Stone instead of wood. > Togther with AC very comfortable sleeping climate 3.) Clean bathroom with good water preassure 4.) Perfect distance to village to reach evrything fast have some extra silence on the other hand 5.) All these hammocks in the garden ! It feels like a visit at friends ! 6.) Free pickup

In the neighborhood there are some good possibilities for breakfast (one minute away). A cooperation and breakfast in the garden would make the stay perfect. ;-)

- Our room was big, nice and clean. The mattress is really good, there is fully functional air conditioning, a fan and a minibar to cool down. Also, you can get free cold drinking water whenever you need it. - Darren is a fantastic host, a super nice and friendly person who helped us with everything we asked for. He gave us advice and practical help with bus tickets, bike rentals, available tours, and general information, as well as some nice chats.

Straight away from booking the property, Darren the owner was very helpful, offering advice about money/sim cards via message! When we arrived he also offered to pick us up from the port! The rooms was spacious with good air con as well as being very clean with good wifi! Darren gave great recommendations and helped to advise on hiring bikes & arranging onward travel!!

The only downside to the property was the road which was a bit of a dirt track with not much lighting, although the condition was definitely worse when we visited due to the rain. Not a fault of the property but just something to be aware of in the dark!

The host is a wonderful guy. Great host.

They don’t do housekeeping until you check out. Maybe it was advertised and didn’t read it myself?

Rooms were a lot more modern than we thought, nice and clean and air con worked well. Bed was comfy! Owner Darren is extremely helpful and such a nice guy. Get free water refills. Only 3 rooms so not too busy. Fridge and power stays on when you take the room key out which is a plus

Nothing, would recommend staying! Just to note; the accommodation is 5 min walk (max) from the main village/town and at night it’s very dark
